There is a company/guys in Oregon making a product called the Crack&Crab that kills and makes cleaning really easy. I just beveled or sharpened the edge of my plastic bucket and can do the same thing. There are videos on it all. QUESTION: where did you locate the screen you use over the bait? It's hard to locate here in Ca. I have used the anti slip under carpet rubber pad and made a bait sack. It works but the wire looks better Bait? I get more crab with Squid but other guys score better with old fish, even cat food. Great video.

Screen is wire cloth at local hardware store. Ace and Orchard supply might have it Ca. GL

Thank you. Crabbing enjoying the outdoors and eating Dungeness crabs is the best. If you want to give it a go, on piers and jettys no need requirement of fishing license. We need to go next time when I visit Bay Area.

16 gauge Hardware cloth can be found in local hardware store, farm store and Amazon online. Hope that helps. GL
