As you noted the burst is nearly free, for some players they would probably find better performance if they took extra time to aim the burst compared to just firing when on cool down. The DPM is something like 15% from using burst but that would be easily made up by better aiming.
Of all the entertaining things I saw, the best was the crying Ohio trying to explain that he had not in fact been baited
Ship design makes sense... Spain liked what Italy was churning out,much like Russia.
Could be a interesting cruiser. But the Spanish flag abstract slapped on the sides always seemed weird.
It's historically accurate. As a neutral country during WW2, you really wanted everybody to notice.
@@pendragooon That's indeed true. I've seen pictures from American ships before 1916. Ocean liners from that time had big US flags on their sides to discourage German ships from sending torpedo's into their sides. Eventually when the US entered the war, the flags were removed from the ships. Ocean liners were kept mostly at safe ports. Although some were used as a troop transporter.This happened again in early WW2; SS America had big flags on her side in 1939-1940.
@@pendragooonWhile Spain leaned to Italy, they had indigenous designs. The tier 9 in fact, the one based on the project 138, could have been made into a T10 by using the actual proposal of 12 203mm instead of those stupid British guns who are totally out of place

seems fun to combine front-back turret when kiting away.
Front turret burst, rear turret normal, so you can deal more DPM while more kiting
Definitely the boat you want to take to go waterskiing.
I play World of Warships; Legends on Xbox, but what i enjoy about you video's is how you explain what you do as you're doing it, which pretty much explains why you're doing it as well simultaneously . This has helped me learn many things about when and why to push, choose between HE/AP, and how i should angle my armor depending on what I'm up against. On average over the last 3 years I'd achieve maybe 60 to 70k damage and maybe a kill. I consistently through advice given by you and a few others brought my average up to 140 to 180k and consistently 3 or 4 kills
so i appreciate the style of your videos because you are not only entertaining, but incredibly informative as well and it has helped me enjoy the game more while being more effective

Looks a strong ship and that second game with my main man Paul in the Cv is an amazing player, I used to be in his clan and I have been amazed playing with him some games like he is the best mino player on the whole NA server fact, nice games I shall look forward to getting them in September then for free.
kinda hyped for this line. i love the alvaro de bazán even though its just a bit over mediocre, and as a cruiser main finally big guns and speed. and i love the arcs and f key. just the damn early access bs sux but in 2 months i can play this game again :P
Just over mediocre are the most fun to play. Making a ship work that shouldn't or difficult to make work is very rewarding.
Thank you potato for saying what I’ve been saying to people. DPM means nothing if the enemy only takes one good salvo then angles. Two good broadsides is worth more than 2 second longer overall reload. Just kite after you fire two shots. Stay within 12km and you can go dark after the burst
Have you seen the T9 Andalucia ? It literally is British guns, Italian AA, German secs and french armor. Literally an asset flip.

Looks like a descent ship, kinda similar to the henry but with the bust fire and better armour more competitive in the current meta. Looking forward to play it (in two months 😅)
I would like to think of it as a 18 guns with 20s reload, pretty cool if you think it that way

The armor is worse than Napoli's but no worse than most T10 cruisers. And the guns are much better than Napoli's. The reload is so much faster and she even has lower drag coefficient. She has hydro. Looks like a fun ship.

I was concerned they might be AP only. Looks fairly balanced.
I'm grateful for the honest sample games. PQ: the content creator least likely to cherry pick games. It's downright inspirational.
I play it the same way as Henri IV, flanks and AP overuse.
Looks a little squishy, but not too bad. Might be pretty good, especially with a burst nearly the same as standard reload. I was thinking when the Vince when broadside and you tried the AP, it might have really hit him hard.
I’ve blown a few of these things out of the water already. I think people are really thinking this is a Napoli but with burst fire and no smoke… all I know is my Georgia, Stalingrad, Yammy and Vincent have been munching on these Italian bois. Especially the players that have already bought their way to the Castilla. It’s definitely a neat ship that doesn’t rely on its gimmick that much, but it’s hilarious to have when a light cruiser gets caught out in a bad spot. Have a friend with the T9 and he has done some filthy things to Minotaurs especially. I think the ships will be decent but definitely not game breaking like a lot of the previous tech tree releases have been.

My only experience with ships from Spain was the Canarias (decent, but nothing to write home about,) and the DD Alvaro de Bazan, which I am not a fan of. This on the other hand looks like its going to be a lot of fun.

i like the Spanish flag but man is that camouflage pattern bad.
The reason behind that camo was that Spain was a neutral country during ww2 and they wanted to make sure their ships were easily identifiable by both sides

It's not a camo, that's the naked ship. Any camo (expendable or permanent) will cover up the flag if you're that annoyed.

losing 3,5s on reload for getting 2x the alpha (burst) dmg is absurdly strong tbh. Its always in every game that the more burst dmg the lower the DPM vs a dmg over time type.

I'm curious, 10" is not a standard cruiser caliber for the 30s-40s. Was this a proposed new design gun from Italy?
Yes it says that it's based on the Italian designs. After the civil war fascist spain got closer with italy and thats why (almost) all the higher tier spanish cruisers look very similar to italian ones, they were given designs by Ansaldo.

after wargaming goes under i will be fully trained on how a cc for a community is just a marketing ploy, too many times i trust the opinion of others only to find out they made some videos based on their opinion that you will find no common ground with, this channel is the odd exception

I find it harder to watch your videos lately as every single game you play super passively and have no battle impact. Most of the cruisers of the Spanish line existed in real life, and the top tier ships were legit projects of the XX century.

Instead review new ships from low tier with progress to top-notch - as always to catch public attention some YTbers taking as first about X tier to increasing a hype for a new top toy. Did WG paying you for such a bs ??. I'm not salty - normaly good reviever should take a tour from low tier V to the X . Probably all comes from utter stupid competition and race between WoWs Ytbers - who became a first to review a new X tier ship from a new line. Of course my point of view will be highly criticized, but I don't give a heck about it.
