A further development of the Des Moines-class heavy cruisers. The key distinctive features that were not present in her prototype are her larger dimensions and increased firepower, the latter of which was achieved by equipping the ship with an additional main battery turret.

The positioning was god tier
Perfect gameplay from ammo choice, to positioning, to triage. The Hannover kill was particularly satisfying.
Excellent player. He owes about 3 of those kills to the dd for giving him perfect spotting making all of that over the island shell lobbing possible.

I have experienced this before i bought the west Virginia and on my first battle out i was sinking ships right and left and no i didn't sink 10 ships but where my shells were landing i was getting kills when i should not have and at the end of the battle i had to get back to our base because there was 2 BBs sitting there trying to take our base and as soon as i was in range with one shot i sunk 1 ship and with the second shot i sunk the 2nd ship and again no cits and no hits to places on the ships that would cause a BB at 75% or better to sink but they did and the other 2 player's left on my team both said that they had never seen anything like that before and what i truly believe is wargaming gave me a great battle to where which ever ship i hit would sink and i only got 3 kills that battle and i sunk them 3 ships when they should had only received damage only not a kill and you know since that battle iv'e yet to sink another ship and i have tried very hard even with citadel hit have not sunk another ship. They do rig this game maybe that and with their prices thats why player's are leaving i am see clan getting smaller and people that i have played with for year have stopped playing so unless you are rich you will not be buying any good premium ships and take a look around do you see that many premium ships in battles? I do see some but not many. $80 or more is more way more than i can pay for but that's me. Also it happened to wowp players started leaving so what did wargaming do them did a complete rewriting of that game and i loved the way it was it was very life like and now it's worse and the price's has come down some so some player's stopped leaving the only game keeping this afloat is tanks and warships but it's dying unless they lower them price's. Take a look i have even seen youtube videos show how people are leaving warships. Look and tell me i am wrong?
Jeez, you write like they charge for punctuation. I agree WG has implemented a lot of schemes for increasing revenue by basically allowing players to gain advantages by spending more money but I have been playing for five or six years and have never spent a single penny on WOW. Though they don't make money directly from me, I act as cannon fodder and provide seemingly less endowed competition for those willing to spend the cash. But, many rivals have ended games with extremely sore exhaust ports because their fancy-schmancy eighty-dollar ship did not compensate for a little dingy. However, I recently got the Jacksonville because I had accumulated about a jillion credits. (I think it was 308 million or something like that.) It is extremely fun to play with the HE funny button but, after playing a bunch of games, I realized I was no longer accumulating credits. That was my first actual experience of the potential financial considerations of playing premium ships but, I am happy to drop down a few tiers and continue playing for free. If all you have is a bolt-action .22 rifle you have to learn to shoot better but I can see how hunting with a double .50 cal mounted on a Range Rover could be a helluva lot of fun.
@@blauskie you misunderstood me there somewhere or I didn’t explain that well enough of what I was trying to say so I apologize for that. I will say this last issue about wows. I watched a player using a new German hybrid BB and it’s a very powerful ship it’s called the Hildebrand tier 10 or 9 anyways it comes with two different types of planes they are torpedoes and bombs and he was sinking ships right and left and he was talking about the ship as the battle went on and he was laughing a lot because he was able to do crazy damage (his words) and 8-9 times out of ten when he would shoot at another ship he would either do heavy damage or get many cits, and sink them ships and he said that he had to pay 50k in doubloons for that ship but he had to buy crates and to get that ship that’s how much in doubloons he had to pay and that’s $200 and my point is wargaming is bringing out theses powerful ships that is near impossible to sink but theses $200 ships is what they are rolling out and I know they have bills to pay I get it but there’s a point to where a person says enough is enough and it’s going to come down to where if you don’t have a $200 ship you will lose every battle. I hope that I’m wrong. Good day.

Any damage ''record'' made in arms race mode is automatically invalid

@@baermithoodie Didn't say it's easy, it's invalid, the game was good but it's not a record. The dmg is inflated due to constant healing and unfair compared to any actual record pulled out in the standard or domination game mode. If you are so dense to understand that, and have reading comprehension issues on top of that, that's only your problem I guess, since a lot of people agree.

Its a turbo mode for all not just for hero. Plus, there are fewer battleships in the game now and you can deal less damage than 5 years ago. Now sometimes you do Kraken and 100,000 damage. Because you sank 4 destroyers and a submarine. Again, remember how Midway did 400-500 thousand damage. Nobody could do anything to him.
@@mathiasgreber8899 Nah, I'm fairly certain it is not exclusively my problem, a lot of people think this way which is logical, ask any decent player on any stream for that matter what he thinks of this problem, the general consensus if fairly common.

Position and posture are perfect. But the aim and ammo selection is lousy... One of the most effective situations for the Des Moines gun is when it is hitting a belly-facing battleship with AP.

Decent player, bit toxic, seems experienced by the way he handled the torps, but not that good at aiming. Relying a lot on the ship. Not much of a team player either. The horrible gameplay by the enemy team really helped, and the fact that his own team didn't do much other than distract the enemy.
For any of these big damage / high kill matches, you pretty much have to have a horrible enemy team and an allied team that only acts as a distraction. You'll never see crazy numbers like this in an evenly skilled match.

@@maximmarkin2546 yes. You can have a high win rate as long as you win. That doesn't mean you have to play with your team.
Team player or not he can be on my team anyday. I'm always open to help and advice from skilled players, regardless if they are team-centric or selfish. You dont get >60% WR potatoing around. Sometimes you just have to hard-carry a shit team.

This is ridiculous and unfair. No need to even think about your shots when your ship is literally a massive floating gatling gun. This is why I hate high tier games, they are filled with ships like this that fire salvos like a machine gun.
