I was a huge Flyer fan back then... Eric had his head down again and paid for it, clean hit..
Everyone says Scott Stevens's hit ended Lindros's career, that hit right there was the beginning of the end for Lindros.
The Stevens hit was the icing on the cake so to speak. Post Kasparitis he was never the same and suffered multiple concussions.

Not having to care? Players went after Eric the same way many times during his youth, especially in Oshawa. You are pretending to know what youre talking about.... and thats lame.

One coach said he never looked up enough in youth leagues because he was so big he felt he didnt have to.

Линдрос был машиной и по голам и по силовой игре. Один из лучших игроков вообще (на мой взгляд). И сломать такого бойца - в два раза больше тебя, это конечно не каждому дано. Каспарайтису - уважуха!

As a Penguin fan I was embarrassed and upset they were celebrating the hit. Fine if no one gets hurt, but watching Eric clearly injured struggling just to get off the ice, it was very inappropriate.
I agree, it's not manly to rejoice in someone else's injury!!!

Darrius is my favorite nhl player because he was fun to watch if he didn’t kill them. Respect to lindross tho for taking that many concussions in one carrier

It is hard to feel sorry for Lindros as dirty as he was. Kasper was a giant killer. Commentators especially Davidson needed to shut the F up. Do you think for one minute Eric ever felt sorry for his victims I don't think so

It's totally fine being happy about your teammate making a big hit, LOVE IT! But.... Morozov was a little over exuberant, he looked like he was ready to drink & bath in Lindro's blood..... I mean....he was just overjoyed! Hrdina might have been a little too happy also, but it wouldn't have looked so bad if not for Morozov's overzealous jubilation.
It was Morozov's rookie season. He was still learning the rules.

Been a Penguins fan for 40+ years and I love the grit of guys like Kasparaitas but I HATE seeing players injured like this. Clean hit for those days but still tough to watch.

It was a clean hit and what is lost among the Lindross saga is while his parents blamed team doctores, they were right,. Lindros could have easily died not a long time after in Nashville

Eric lindros is a creepo on the street! Tried to wine and dine my wife when she was 17. She was his neighbor in new Jersey, and she didn't know that he was a famous hockey player. He convinced her to sneak out to go out with him a few times. Nothing happened apparently but he sure did try! Must've messed with Darius kasperitis's little sister too...... lol.
Not a dirt hit in any way, just a dirty player.

That was a clean hit. They changed the rules because there was an entire generation of millennials about to come into the league that were rich kids that went to hockey school that would have been killed by the true grit veterans. All one has to do is look up the video of Crosby getting killed by hatcher in his rookie season to understand what I’m talking about.

not sure how thats a clean hit .Lidros did not have the puck for over 2 seconds .That is interference all the way .Kasperitis was such a dirty hitter
