I think it actually worked. They did add a tail fin but Da Vinci has been known to put in design flaws in his plans. The tank had gears that made the wheels spin in opposite directions.

What did Denver invent??? From everything I know he died from flying an experimental aircraft he wasn't permitted to fly.
