Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. God bless you!!
I'm a retired US Army Airborne infantryman 22 years 87-09 and I served with many senior NCO's who had multiple tours in Vietnam. He reminds me of them myself a combat veteran. I listened and learned so much from these men . Its because of them im alive. I had a few good officers that where Vietnam veterans as well. Most where battlefield commission former NCO's many now including NCO's i wouldn't follow through a puddle. Are nothing but ticket punchers.
Thank you for your service to the United States of America - the greatest country in the world, Sergeant Bromer! Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed!🇺🇲

The VA is a real piece of work. I have no respect for politicians in fact I have more respect for the enemy i fought against then politicians. This old soldier is very correct.
One of your best interviews. Thank you Sgt.Bromer.
Thank you sir..welcome home.
Mr. Bromer , I want to thank you for your service to our country. When ever I see a man or woman who has fought for all of us, I stop and let them know how grateful I am. My Dad was a WW11 vet who lived to be 91 years old. Every Veterans Day, he would put on his uniform, in which still fit him!, and we would go to one of his favorite places and walk around. Some people would come up to him and want to shake his hand. It made me so proud to be with him. And he felt respected. He sure enjoyed that time. I thank God he spared his life and he was my Dad. God bless you and your family. I wish I could shake your hand and thank you in person. Again, thank you✝️☮️
God bless you Marcia.
Thank you sir
Honored to hear you tell your story
Proud of you!
One of the best interviews you’ve done. This man is intelligent, honest and a great American!
I too trained as a grunt for Vietnam at Fort Jackson in 1971. I was fortunate and did not go to Nam and have often wandered what it was truly like being in country in combat. This is the BEST documentary that I have ever heard. Thank
You Sgt Bromer for your service and a excellent discussion about your year in Vietnam. WELL DONE. I salute you🫡

Sgt bromer. Thank you so much for your service. I love you kids. Cause you were kids. I went in the army in 85 and never saw combat, but had I…I could only hope I would be as courageous as the vets in nam.

Thank you Lawrence. You served with honor and deserve all respect, especially from those of us who served but not in action. Looks like the noise of combat took its toll on your hearing. God bless you and thanks again. 15:19
Jean, Thank you for watching and your comment. God bless you!!
Father we are thankful for You and your Son. Hallelujah. ❤️
Thi s man is telling how it was, he told us the good things and the bad things. But in reality the good things are seldom seen. We have to except the tragedies of war, it’s not a pretty picture. We’re here to see how this one man saw this war. In the end this man is a brave individual, he served his country. I hope Mr. Lawrence Bromer doesn’t dwell on the past. He is what makes the United States of America what it is. Keep On Truckin Larry !
Another great interview with another brave American. Thank you both.
Thank you for all you did your a good man with a good heart God Bless
57:46 this man said sorry for his poor posture. I can’t really put into words how mind blowing that was to hear. These guys came from a different time. My mom always bugged me about posture “quit slouching in your chair!” Brought back memories hearing him apologize. Thanks for the video Larry!
Was good hearing from you "Only the clouds 1989." Where do you dwell? Could I interest you in a new project I have started?
Welcome home! Thank you for your honesty.
Thank you Lawrence Bromer for answering the call and putting your life on the line for me. I grew up free because of MEN just like you. LORD BLESS YOU and the sacrifice you made for America 🇺🇸

Thank you Sir for the sacrifice you made. This was a great interview. This man's story and others like it should be required learning in school
I agree. All of these stories should be required learning in schools. How come we are so smart and can see this? We live in dangerous times.
Peace be to you,
Do you know my friend Thomas?
Most don't know, but the 25th were the most feared of all U.S. soldiers by the N.V A. and vietcong. These enemy soldiers would always go around them,if they knew they were in the area.
Thank you Sgt Bromer and welcome home sir, thank you for your service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯👏👏👏

God bless you and your family. My husband was a Viet Nam vet,but didn’t go to Nam he enlisted in 1972 USMC🇺🇸

Milton Olive III, African American hero in Vietnam who sacrificed his life to save his fellow soldiers. He used his body to absorb the blast from an enemy grenade.
Lawrence, you should be drawing 100 percent for ptsd as you are not able to work. See your county veterans service officer and file a new claim. I’ve been thru the same issues with the v a and you will get your permanent and total rating.
I get what you are saying. Back in the bush you were somebody. When you were shot they disrespected you by telling you to work KP. Even in your own company they disrespected you. That's why you preferred to put your life on the line vs being a REMF. Our country should take better care of it's veterans. It might be better now. But 30 years ago I had no respect for the doctors at the VA. To me they were the doctors that no one else wanted and their level of proficiency was so poor l wouldn't recommend anyone going there. A took a friend to see the doctor because he had heart problems and all the doctor did was give him compression stockings so his feet wouldn't swell up. One pair.
The island he is referring to is Johnson island somewhere in the pacific. We were told if you happened to get the “black such” you would be sent there as that disease would kill you. For your info. JAmes jones
