Great video! Got an R7 myself so hearing about the differences was nice. Be careful using a fog machine with the camera open and its sensor exposed by the way! The fogger "smoke" is actually just tiny droplets of the oil based fog liquid, which is something you don't want on the sensor and insife your camera. 🙂
There is definetly a market for these types of cameras, but I still feel like they are too expensive for what they can do compared to other cameras out there.
I do kinda agree with that it seems like a lot to pay for a crop sensor camera, saying that there are constantly deals on and you can probably buy it cheaper second hand / refurbed
Depends on what you are looking to create. If you want more video options, a larger sensor, more dynamic range and a variety of lenses to shoot with then think about something like the R10. If you want to film things casually and are happy with the iphone look than I'd say go with something like the iPhone 15/16 pro / pro max.
What do you think about the Canon R10 in 2025?
Still expensive, especially in Africa

How does it compare to something like the iPhone 16 Pro Max for video? would I be better off sticking with getting a phone for video?
