- For the 2nd year in a row I've invited fellow RUclipsrs and fans down to camp on Chimney Island on Lake Marion in Cross, SC. We camped for 3days and 3 nights on what has now been dubbed "Palmetto Island". I hope you enjoy the video. #palmettoisalnd #lakemarion #santeecooper

@@PalmettoCats yessir👍
I once hunted a huge alligator that liked to lay on that very beach, found that little 12-14 channel that cuts in front the island. Next trip took some cat rods and caught a 35lb flathead in the middle of the day while gator hunting
Wow, that sounds like an awesome trip.
So much fun. Thanks for recording the adventures. Cant wait til next one. Much love brother.
Thank you.
Hate that I wasn’t able to attend but looking forward to joining next year
Yes sir
Is there any advice for catching catfish? What is the best baits?
Cut bait is the best. Blue gill, Shad, herring etc. night crawlers work great too
Would love to find a small island I can fish off and camp one night. Hey quick question out here for the public. I'm interested in buying a creekboat 12 ft 6 two man boat setup with the electric motor setup and all . Has anyone had experience with this brand and would I be good enough for hitting deeper lake water too or just stick semi shallow ?
I have no experience. But a sneak boat may serve you well.
@@PalmettoCats yep yep I basically want something that I can get in smaller areas with but I want to know what the limits are as well because I would definitely like to maybe drift a little bit in Lake Moultrie but definitely don't want to be caught in the water during a storm
