Rediculously soul touching for any true country boy who is addicted to waking up to the smell of fresh spring Mountain Dew before fishin for natives in the mountains out past the farm. God Bless real music
Phenomenal song!!! First time hearing it today!! What a voice. Got me right in my feels!! If I knew I’d get that on the other side I’d definitely get there
Had the honors of meeting him and his family at Ellis Ranch. Genuine people..living out their dreams...but never forgetting to honor their legacy's. Love every minute of it!
this song hit me straight in the heart when you replayed it on the show this morning, it was a tough drive to work, thinking about my grandpa this song really got to me.
I'm so jealous of Campbells voice every time I hear him. In heaven, I'll ask God why he didn't give me a voice like Craigs. I guess He will remind me of the "thou shalt not covet" deal. I will come back with "thou shalt not sound like a hyena with throat cancer too".
my grand daughter is learning this for church. Do yall see anything wrong with this song that might make people mad with her singing it at church. (she goes to a nondenominational church).
You asked so I will give my honest opinion. An old school, fire n brimstone church would probably find fault with the second verse where he says he'd trade his mansion for a farmhouse. Heaven is supposed to be perfect so we shouldn't want to change it. Personally, I wouldn't have ANY problem with hearing her sing it in church. Some of the old timers would but I think it's just fine. It's just making a statement that he loves his country life and hopes the good Lord will bless him with more of it in heaven.
