Microtech has made me sell all of my Medford’s and a lot of my Chris Reeve - I still have a few and love my Large Inkosi) BUT - Microtech has delivered the MSI and Stitch with new materials like polymer, aluminum and Titanium at all price ranges.. the MSI polymer and the MSI Aluminum and G10 and the Stitch are the best sub $200 and $300 knives made. The LUDT was revamped with Titanium and the price stayed the same or actually went down! The OTF’s have Titanium pocket clips with silicone carbide, slick integrated glass breakers, new dual fuel systems and the next set of knives including the Ultratech will have all of this plus zero blade play for an additional $40 - Microtech is absolutely crushing it and delivering massive upgrades and innovation at lower, equal or modestly higher prices - no one else is doing this and I appreciate it!!!

Something to think about in today's world. You might not want to use words like evil or aggressive. I only want your success.

It’s that type of weak mentality that got us in this situation in the first place.

This is currently my favorite knife. I own the black two-tone with FRN. The sound it makes when the blade opens and drops closed is very satisfying. And I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the comment! I like the look of the 2 tone, and ohhh man, the sound this thing makes! It's like a ka chunk. Just a solid beast.

Thanks for the review! My MSI was just delivered yesterday. Damn it's so nice! It'll definitely be a daily driver for a while to put it through it's paces. BTW, I just checked my pivot screw and it's a T15.

The ram lok has a seeious issue though. The lock completely broke down and would fail. Im not sure they have fixed it yet?

Oh wow really? I hadn't heard about that. No issues with mine so far, but that's crazy!

I was 49 lol, how is the tension on the ram lok itself? I have a Manix 2 XL and I don't like it because the plunger spring has way too much tension. So unless you always open it with the thumb hole it's kinda hard to get it open with just the crossbar. I find myself bracing the back of the knife against my palm just to open it.

It seems like they got the tension just right on the MSI. It's not too heavy, but not too light. I use it to open mine all the time. I don't actually have a Manix to compare it to, so I guess I'll have to get one now. Ya know, for scientific reasons...

@@AverageGearReview 😆no just too pricey for me. I don’t usually even bother to look at them.
Brass nightshade is my most expensive $135. I was about to do $200 for the original limited edition on eBay because they don’t make them any more and I already knew that I loved my others. But then they released the new brass.
Over $200ish just doesn’t seem like your getting much of anything much greater that some big factory is pumping out a bunch of at a lot lower cost. I just don’t get the pricing from some expensive companies. Maybe if I actually held and used some hi dollars for awhile I would change my mind but I don’t think I would. I grew up with junk steal slipjoints doing farm type of work.
That’s the way it was and we liked it!😆🤷‍♂️🙂
