Introducing the Fidelo Minimalist wallet!
I have a Hera ii, Ultratech Warhound, Brachial and a LUDT gen 3. Just bought a Full Serrated Outbreak MSI last night.
Nice man! I'm jealous!
I would definitely say that’s was a “sound purchase.” 😂 It does seem like, from old ears anyway, it does make your voice sound kinda distorted. Just honest feedback is all bro. Maybe it’ll just take some time getting used to it. Idk. But good video man.
Thanks man, I did some fine tuning and got it sounding really good now! I think in future videos you'll notice a difference
That’s cool. Sometimes you just gotta fidget with stuff. Lol.
How does it sound? Comment and let me know!
CJRB is my vote.
Noted sir!
💳👋💥 take $ now!
Link is in the description!
They had a baby! 😁 I like the otf utility knives. They’re fun. I have a cheap one, different shape. 👍🏼
@andrewfett142 Yeah it's fun and fidgety, but also kinda looks badass?? I want to get one of the slimmer blade models in an OTF!
How nice do you feel about selling the microtech😁😅
Not nice at all, I really do love this knife, but gotta do what ya gotta do.
@ Do you have a site I can look at prices?
@griffingothmann6684 Sure, you can check DLT Trading or Blade HQs sites. I think they still have them. This is the M390 version with the standard handles, not g10.
Nah a person. AI
Definitely man made, but they sure do look alien 😆 Thanks for the comment!
My own personal opinion is that these two locking mechanisms are so similar in function, they are practically the same thing. Maybe one is slightly stronger than the other, but they are both strong to an extent that it really doesn’t matter.
Good point! They're both great locks, and for all intents and purposes are the same mechanism. Maybe slightly different in application, but practically the same. Thanks for the comment!
have had one of these for almost 2 years. I can't believe it doesn't get "press". it's great and it's much less expensive than similar otf box cutters. not to mention it's just sooo much fun. feels and works very solid.
That's cool! Thanks for the comment
That’s just a cool little, unique, kind of blade. 👍
@GoodGuyWithGun It's so fidgety too! Waaaaaay too much fun 😁
Grab yours here: amzn.to/4h4xHeY Amazon Affiliate link save 9%!
I like your EDC collection 😉
Thanks! I have to admit, it's grown out of control now 😆
👍🏼
Thank you sir! Good to see you bro
The Scuttler was cool. Definitely has its place. When I was doing Security work I could see myself carrying one on each hip. One in reverse grip on my left and regular grip on my right. Small discrete. Good video man. As always. 👍
They really do seem complimentary. Yeah, I could see carrying both like you said, and together they'd still way less than a lot of knives.
Look at Matt Gentry knives. You will see works of art with a similar shape.
Thanks, I'll check them out!
Definitely not titanium scales. I have same knife...bladeHQ $105
Hey, just FYI. They are definitely anodized aluminum with ultem inserts. Currently found on Blade HQ at this link for $209. Flytanium Arcade Knife Black Alum/Ultem (SW) - Blade HQ search.app/fwWNm5w8sGUKU1xUA
Yeah true but I ordered mine 12/28/2024 and it was on sale for $105.99. I should of bought more!!!
👍🏼I been wondering about you. Happy new year🙂
Thanks brotha! Hope you and yours are doing well sir!
I’ve also used the cork screw to get super tight knots out. When I tie my boots to tight or the strings get wet, they can be a pain in the butt.
Nice tip! I've never tried that...
Hey bro 👋 so glad to see you again!!!!!
Thank you sir! Feels good to be back in the saddle. I'm doing the Kizer video next just for you buddy!
Holy crap! Welcome back, buddy! I'm typing this while watching so I have no info from the video yet 😅 but welcome back none the less!
Thanks bro, it's good to be back!
The only thing bad about a demko ad20.5 is the pocket clip. All 3 of mine have Lynch NW deep pocket clips which makes them PERFECT.
Gotta love Lynch NW!
Learn the difference between slip joint and lock back knives. They’re not the same thing.
Thank you for your comment and constructive criticism.
Dude this knife is the last blade type that I need for the 20.5 I have 4 of them that’s how much I love them I carry all of them no pocket shred for me there in grivory and altum how ever you spell those I love them
That's awesome man, I'm actually considering selling mine to make some room
How did the scales hold up? Do they scratch up easily?
Good question! Mine have held up extremely well, and still look new as far as I can tell. I still think this is one of my favorite knives!
Do NOT recommend that people get their medical emergency gear off of Amazon!!!!
I'll continue to recommend viable ways for people to acquire good gear, wherever that may be. Thanks for your input.
I didn't just find this video, I have carried mine for about 8-10 years, bought it at a flea market for $10 no case, handle is still tight and blade too, snaps out fast and love the feel! Best knife I ever had! If I need a quick edge I can roll down my truck window and tune it up real quick, sometimes soft metal is faster to sharpen.
Awesome! I had much the same experience. I love SOG
Riiight… like Marconi didn’t steal the idea of using radio waves from Tesla.
Don't support Chinese clones!!!!
I agree generally, however I do like to present budget alternatives to more expensive blades for people on a budget.
@AverageGearReview That's called supporting and promoting Chinese clones🤨
Think that’s a Strider clone
In hindsight now, yes definitely!
It has a button compression lock. Basically, it’s a button lock and liner lock combo.
Correctamundo
Great review sit
Thank you, and thanks for the comment!
Sharing love from the Our Town Sherwood post!
Thank you so much!
Can I get one with no holes in the handle ? Not into the holes but love the looks and blade
They have aftermarket scales you can buy without the speed holes, or they may have a version without the speed holes.
Nice review. I came here because I was looking for a review on this knife. Love the enthusiasm but your paper cutting needs work. Try coming in along the edge of the paper at a low angle like you're trying to slice ribbons. The thinner you can slice the ribbons the sharper it is.👍 Works great for me.
The knife is really awesome yeah!
Heat the top of this kydex sheath closely with a hot blow dryer, and squeeze the sides a bit till you get a nice click in with the knife! Repeat till you’re satisfied with it. This knife looks bulletproof, DC53 is a great steel 👍
Great tip! Thanks for the comment
Lots of cheaper ones same design, if they could just get the clip right on the cheaper versions. Im not sure but i think there are better replacement clips for better retention.
I like ulti clip minis, they're the best IMHO
That is the sharpest knife I ever owned.
It's an awesome all around fixie
@@AverageGearReview Because of the fine grain of DC53 it cuts like charm
My every day jobsite carry. I've been beating it up for 8months now.. cardboard, web straps, cement bags, scoring drywall, etc. I haven't been kind, and aside from a few swipes on the bottom of my coffee mug(quick hone), it's had zero maintenance- and given me zero problems aside from the drywall took the black coating off. They're going to make good stocking stuffers this year🎉
Awesome man, I'm glad to hear how durable they are!
This is an amazing blade people - if you're watching this and considering buying it at all - just do it... Even if you've had Trivisas before that you didn't like - this is on another level. Thanks for the review!
Agreed! This is one of my favorite Trivisas
I don't think this is PVD coated guys... I have a ton of PVD coated blades - this is different. I really think that it's some kind of DLC or maybe titanium coating that''s been stonewashed. I have cut all kinds of things with mine and after wiping down, it looks new - not a property that PVD exhibits.
It is super tough, I have to check again and see if it's PVD or DLC, although I highly doubt it's DLC at this price point...
@@AverageGearReview Same, but it doesn't behave like any PVD that I've ever used. It reminds me of the old Benchmade BK coating (before they switched to BT) back in the day. Same matte black too... PVD could technically be a number of coatings as it refers to the process rather than an actual coating (particle vapor deposition). My Kizer LP is supposed to be coated with "blackened titanium and stonewashed" - and looks almost exactly like the blade on the Columba.
@@HtownDooDooBrown That's what I was thinking as well. They're using something different in the coating or coating process
Wondering about edge retention.... One dude on amazon says he tested it at hrc53 😮
it would be cool if the lenses of your glasses reflected not a circle of light but the silhouette of a knife. that's easy to do with a diode strip 🙃👍
How exactly do I do that now?! Cool idea!
You should be able to identify D2 because tool steel has unmistakable lines going through it that run very close together. If you have any higher end ratchet wrenches that aren’t polished you will notice this very easily. From the looks of this knife it’s polished to hide the possibility of telling one way or another but that’s just something I wanted to pass along from having D2 knives in the past.
Great comment! Thanks for the info. I learn so much from you guys for real!
I have two of those and they are great inexpensive fixed blades.
Thanks for the comment...and yes, agreed!
I see the name of our Island. Luzon!
That's cool! I didn't realize it was the name of an island! Where is it located?
@@AverageGearReview It's one of the three main Islands of our country the Philippines. Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. ☺️ Luzon is where the capital is at.
Enjoy it👌 love mine
Heck yeah!
I carry mine daily. Love it. I modified the sheath so it will clip to by belt or belt loop. I also forgot with it often, I have "opened and closed" is thousands of times. Would be better if it locked straight like the cobratec. This was given to me as a gift. He could not get past the clunky leather holster, I am ok with it.
The sheath is the worst part of this knife IMO, and I wish there was a Kydex option out there that would allow open or folded carry. The knife itself is great though!
Comparison video with QSP Eagle? Similar price and dimensions, thoughts?
Roger that, I'm on it! Thanks for the great idea!
Tactical steak/paring knife. I have the micarta handle one on the way.
It's an incredible knife! Thanks for the comment!
@@AverageGearReview it came today. Not disappointed, great buy at an amazing price.
