For those that insist on judging and criticizing. There is a purpose to this simulation like timeliness and precision operating. Then one should ask themselves what is the point of playing any game at all? Playing Xbox or any other system. Flight Simulator all one does is fly once the plane is airborne what is the point? I also enjoy flight and trains. Quick to judge and know nothing.
Train going down a snowy track? Yea! we GOT that B-Roll! Whys it snowing? maybe it's winter, or maybe theyre in alaska, we dont know, we got that b-roll!
This is indeed a good simulator, but not so popular as Train Simulmator was, this simulator miss too much addons. And by the way, this is Rail Simulator, not 2 :)) Very nice video.
Nice lighting effects, and it really knows much more than MSTS or OpenBVE, but I'm also sure that it needs a very, very strong PC that's even better than in the heavens' computers...:/
Totally agree with your comment, Trainz is a nice railsim, but just for have fun not for "real experiencies", BTW RS2 needs to be improved in some aspects. Wish I see some japanese add-ons for this simulator!
In th beginning of the video, did I see dust fly off the windshield? that was cool :-) It's missing the radio transmissions and the talking... it's too quiet

this is the type of game you would buy for your kid if he had downsyndrome to keep him occupied while you did everyday stuff without having to worry about him. he has to have a real conductors hat on though so he can really pretend hes the driver.

How about you make a game, when its pirated, you wont feel good.
I don't understand the appeal of thes games. Yeah, I could see wanting to play something relaxing but why not jsut play a puzzle game or, well, anything but this? If your training to become a conductor or something then yes, play this but why play this for fun? Serious question here.
