There's something about Squirrel's videos that makes it so enjoyable to watch and listen to. These bus sims and truck sims are so relaxing to watch as well.
Main Station is the city's main train station, as said in the opening piece of dialogue to this very video xD It would have been less confusing to call it Seaside Valley Central or something that makes that a bit more obvious, but the game does tell you.
General tip: if you assign a driver to a newly created route and then drive it, it will actually tick the box for it afterwards. I find this helpful as to not forget to add them later and it also keeps the list up-to-date.
When you're driving with passengers, turn on the subtitles and you'll notice that "Winter of Passion" is actually called "Blizzard of Love". They changed the voice script but not the subtitles. :P Thanks for more great content, Paul!
It would actually be really nice to have extensions to the map, even if it is only for longer routes, especially if they were between Seaside Valley and a town of similar size, along with running the town services in that other town, which could be a decent money spinner. But along with the extension, it would be good to see extra buses, such as the MAN Lion's Intercity, or the Iveco Crossway or Evadys. Or even if there was an airport in the extension, which would, as airports always are, be a huge source of income.
Where's the video's Squirrel? Bus Simulator 18 having an update for a map expansion and more gameplay would definitely be very apt! Enjoyed the series so far, but need more than 9 videos? Cant wait to see following episodes so you get to drive the bendy buses and more routes!
We got rid of the automatic ramps on our buses because they kept breaking, and the bulk they created under the bus made it harder to 'sweep the kerb' which you need to do when making tight turns on real roads (as opposed to the easy super wide roads in this game). With a manual ramp you do have to get out of the cab but at least you know it'll always work because there's so little to go wrong
Things must be very different in Europe from the states. Here buses never use their blinker pulling out of the stop, and in the desert SW where potholes are rare, the drivers know where they all are and expertly hit every one!
Are you going to continue this playthrough? Especially now that there's been an update with a new map area added to the game?

No more of these Bus Simulator 18 videos? I've just binge watched all of these and was surprised there's no more after this one, despite there being no indication that this would be the last. And, as it's, (presently), nearly 5 months since, is there any reasoning behind it?
It's the main *railway* station though kinda odd to have the bus hub located on the opposite side of town to the rail hub not unheard of for them to be some distance apart being that the latter was typically located the better part of a century after the former co-locating them wasn't possible everywhere but most places at least tried to put the bus hub as close to the rail hub as possible.
When I was playing this yesterday the lights started flashing on the railway crossing when I was about half a bus length away from the crossing, they were followed about a second later by a fine for going through a red light LOL !!!
It's a weird light signal actually most countries have a preliminary caution signal proceeding the actual stop signal itself. Considering the game seems to act like it's in Germany (well half the time anyways) pretty sure that German crossings have two lights with several seconds of audio only warning preceding the amber caution light that precedes the red light by several seconds, the barrier drop itself being a few seconds later still so if it was done properly there would be plenty of warning.
Hi Squirrel Can I ask how do you edit the like input pressure on pedals I might get a Logitech G920 and when I push on my old steering wheel one little touch does 100% brakes and same with throttle how do I edit this and can you tell me reccomended setting for a logitech g929?
If you want some extra XP of the routes that go through the roundabouts you can indicate while entering it and it will give you the indicator bonus as well. Unless they patched it since last time i played.

Wow what a smooth n fast drive good job mate . but for me this game didnt amaze me because im ardent lover of ets2 , when you have played those high end simulation games , these tiny game wont impress . anyhow good play ..

I know, I know, I know, but SCS have to really work on their bus sim integrated with ETS2 And also, the wheelchair guy might learn some manners, "ohw no I can't get out" what's wrong with asking the driver to lower the ramp?

@Steve W You have to drive the route yourself first to set a revenue level for it before you can assign a driver.
