The SSC819 will be at my door today! (black dial). The 39mm and "Speedy" look attracted me.

I was able to snag this awesome watch for just 200 pounds! Waiting for it was totally worth it, as I underestimated how much I'd adore the color. Ever since I got it, it hasn't left my wrist; I'm absolutely in love with it! Originally, I bought it on a whim, but I've completely fallen for its vibrant 70s colors. This is a fantastic review!

If the markers weren't high polish, you'd be able to see them much better; they would scatter the light rather than reflect it. think the blue is fantastic though. It's blue but not "hey, look at me; I'm blue!". The tan color is nice too!

How do ya feel about it now, are ya glad you got the white SSC813 dial? I’m wanting the khaki ssc817 but I’m afraid I’ll regret not getting the white one. All the other colors are just average

Lots of Seiko chronographs going around. Just bought a Seiko SBTR 21. My first JDM watch.

Excellent review. I agree it should be a shade lighter blue. I noticed the deep set date that can hide in the shadow is also an issue on the Orient Neo 70's Solar Panda. I think the traditional white dial panda would be my choice, but the Khaki is pretty good too.

It's nice. I see what you mean about legibility. I'd go for that khaki. It's a lot different, but the citizen tsuno used is great bang for buck. Recently picked up a promaster tough, the black one on a strap. Been eyeing them since you reviewed the stainless steel model. I love it. Great work as always Maverick!

Yes the white or khaki really pop I’m leaning towards the khaki

Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions but, if it was a black dial it would have been a better looking package. I have the black one and if it had that small splash of red it would be fantastic.

Did G-shock G-9300 still good for military in this years?

Nice piece 👍. I like the khaki color dial the best.
I like the appearance of chronographs. I have a handful of them but don't use the functions. Only 2 are true chrono's - my Seiko Flightmaster & a Bulova CURV. All my other chrono's only have 1 true chrono sub dial. The other 2 sub dials are Small Seconds & Day of the Week.

Very nice video thanks, I like the Panda look, first the they want $200 more, also some one may miss taking as Daytona, hand May get chopped off this day, so I got the Pepsi one. The original look.

The style is very nice but they are £590 in the uk which puts them up against some stiff and lower cost opponents from the likes of Tissot and Certina. I would need to have them in hand to see which is best…solar power would have to carry a lot of weight…
