Love my Original blue one. It's much nicer in my opinion without the random SKX-style case of the new one. Maybe some time i swap the old movement to the updated. And yes, the original had the same tiny lumed pips. And the reissue has a push/pull crown like the old one. Just another deal breaker. My tip: Buy the old one (there are still many of them out there) and put a new movement in. Still the better choice for the same price in the end, i guess.
Seiko selling mineral (ahem hardlex) and that junk bracelet and clasp at that amount in 2024 is a travesty. Folks focused on affordable have left Seiko behind and went to china to get better watches. Seiko will never learn. Is that a push / pull crown?
I guess I’m a contrarian, but I like this one. I’m a sucker for blue watches though.
Its a beauty but I am with you it doesnt grab me by the shirt and say buy me
I like it.
Please, how 50 Fathoms nickname came for this watch ? I don't see why 🤔

Looks good
I like the Seiko 5 field watches, don't care much for the rest of Seikos model range.
I love me some Seiko’s, just not the Seiko 5
