Kingdom Come II got me so excited, what they achieved with such a small studio for the first game and now having a team that dwarfs their old set up. Sky is the limit with Warhorse

Happy 2025, Nick! Great list. I'm not sure if you've ever played Monster Hunter, but you may enjoy Wilds if you get the time to try it this year. Could be cool for ASMR too.
I haven't touched a Monster Hunter game since the 3DS, but I know that people loved World, and Wilds does look pretty cool! I'll probably wait for reviews to drop, but I may end up picking it up.

I like the concept of "changing" the civs in each era, it's not really "changing" but rather "evolving" - so people who are concerned about not having the "same" civilisation from start to finish are interpreting the change incorrectly. No civ in reality stayed the same in leadership, symbols, flags, and particular identity. Civs are subject to change, building upon past instances of themselves. It's the right decision.
Welcome back! Civ 7 definitely the apple of my eye this year, but Judas hadn’t crossed my radar; was a big fan of Infinite and the Bioshock mechanics in general, will be interested to see if the execution on the ambition is bigger and better.

Hades 2 full release is for sure my most anticipated, managed to stay away from spoilers so far!
After that, Fable, Doom Dark Ages, GTA6, 2XKO, South of Midnight, Metroid Prime 4, Silksong, and finally probably Ghost of Yotei… I’m absolutely heartbroken Earthblade was cancelled that was right up there with Hades 2 😔

I've got a top 3 that I can't wait for in 2025, it would be more but I have 2 kids so it's unlikely that I play more then 3 new games this year lol. #1 GTA 6, #2 Clair Obscur Expedition 33, #3 Civ 7. I am looking forward to Avowed, Fable, Outer Worlds 2, Japanese Drift Master, but those are all games that I will get eventually, my top 3 are likely day 1 purchases with the exception of Civ 7 might swap that out with Fable
If you add a spill suppressor after keying out your footage, it will get rid of the slight green screen halo,, it is not a big deal and I don't think anyone really cares but that's my 2 cents 😀

Where's the love for Monster Hunter Wilds?
The one game that I'm most excited for is Borderlands 4.
Fable definitely has me the most excited but also the most worried. Scrapping the entire existing world in favor of “appealing to a modern audience” as they put it, convinces me that the fans of the original games are not of the highest priority. Also I’m begging them to give us a character creator. Even by Fable 2 you could at least choose between boy and girl. The hero they had in the trailer just looks super unappealing and not in a “fable humor” kind of way. I’m just really hoping it’s not a sign of what their plans for this game are.

Edit.. omg im also so hyped for a switch 2 and the new pokemon... really enjoyed scarlet/violet but my word, the 10 fps particularly at launch was just... shocking. the new hardware may only be ps4 level but my goodness for nintendo games thats a godsend and more than enough.

It looks so good! Naoe specifically IMO, I like that she’s adhering to the Assassin style. Though Yasuke could be fun from time to time
If they don't update the parkour like they did in Mirage, it will be subpar. However, stealth looks much improved and at least the combat looks functional. Gotta hope they get the ball rolling with this one at least.
A mattress in a box was the oddest purchase we ever made 3-4 year ago. Its the best thing we did. So darn comfortable. We bought a tempurpedic about 7-8 years ago and hated it. Overrated

Seems that way 😂 It could have been a rights thing, where the rights to Bioshock are with the publisher, rather than the developer? Honestly not sure, but I bet you Ken Levine has talked about it in interviews.
@@theASMRnerd You know I went looking and all it is apparently, is that managing a studio that size was seriously affecting his health so he left. Saying he wanted to work on projects with a different creative direction but that trailer just looks like BioShock. I am confused by the whole ordeal, can't wait to play it.
