A Super Bowl contenders can only have so many players that make above the average for their position, and you need quality depth. Licht has done a good job of keeping his best players without breaking the bank, but we have begun to lead the league at some positions in what we pay. Mayfield is our biggest bargain. Godwin is certainly worth his contract currently. You have to be able to stay on the field health wise or you are cap drag. Godwin has had trouble.

I don’t see how we keep Godwin, he’s gonna command top dollar.
He’s already getting 20 mil, he won’t require much more than that, Evan’s and Bake are already underpaid so he won’t have a problem following suit.
