I listened to this song everyday of every month my husband was gone. And all I could do was cry as I watched him leave again. God Bless All who feel the call of the asphalt. God Bless Truckers.
this is my husband, an asphalt cowboy, been driving big rigs since 1990! his pawpaw passed in 1988, he was a trucker, so my husband carried on the tradition, he says he can look in the passenger seat and see his pawpaw sometimes, great tribute to truckers
Great song, been there and done that 20 years coast to coast, the song really tells the story ,I miss it ,got old and the government ruined the industry, but glad I was part of it back then
So much memories :( I used to ride with my husband, now I'm pregnant and have to be at home but I miss him so much.. May God watch over all the truck drivers and take them back home safe.
My hubby is a trucker, about to head back out after his weekend at home. This song (and video!) is a wonderful dedication to all the drivers who keep everything going. Where would we be without them? "If you got it, a trucker brought it. Proud to be a Trucker's Wife". :)
awesome video..married to a truckdriving man..love him dearly..raised our kids while he was out there following the yellow line..he's been driving 40 years, but doing local runs now, he see's our grandkids do things he neaver seen our own children do..but the aspalt road is for him...ty again

Thank you for all the Thank yous and prayers, puts it into light why some of us really do this for a living. By the way, a marriage can end with any job. I was a Paramedic for 6 years working 24hrs on and 3 days off and my ex-wife was cheating on me and I was home more then I am now. Thank you to my lovely wife for standing by me!!!

Showing my age..lol.
Thank You , it's rare to be thanked out here ,great job on putting it together. Would be nice if a few more people would understand what we go thru out here.
This song reminds me of my father, He was a trucker until the cancer made were he couldn't drive no more. Some of my best memories of him was when he would let me ride in his old Freightliner. When you're a boy you believe your dad to be invincible. Hardest thing for me was finding out mine wasn't.
this song always makes me cry cuz I'm a daughter of a truck driver and everyday I pray to god my moms alright but I will have to say i have seen Jason live 2 times this year both times he has sang this song and let me tell u this song hits alot hurter live then it does just listening to it like this. (I'll post a video of him singing it live in Bossier City,LA)
Thanks for awesome video I am a trucker and so was my grandfather, he was killed in a truck, but it's like he used to say if it was not for truckers the world would stop. My uncle drove since he was 22... He is now 39... I use to go with him, but he had to quit truckin... I asked him if he missed it the other day and he said he does everyday... For all you truckers out there, good luck and god bless you. Without you, we wouldn't have anything.

You can rent this system for heat or air conditioning along with electric hook ups and cable TV. this is so you do not need to idle your truck when shut down. You can buy a night or monthly or even a yearly contract.
I can't even begin to tell you how much i love this song, and how much i can relate. I'm a trucker, and my page is pretty much dedicated to trucking. Same here, from a trucker to a rail man. Be safe
