since you asked, behind the scenes people have been playing and testing this game for sometime now. I personally know someone, this might be strange to you but a lot of feed back data and issue have been corrected.
I get that, I've play tested games before, but the way they made it sound was that they catered to public feedback. And if that's the case then I'm curious what issues were corrected. If they're just referring to play testers then that part could've just been apart of an inner memo and not their public statement.

Sekiro I’d say is different because of how useful and customizable his arm was. And not to mention but the combat was challenging with every enemy having a different moveset. (In comparison to AC which has just Samurai 1, 2, 3). Ghost of Tsushima was good because the enemies required different stances at times (but it still got repetitive imo near the end). I say visual presentation is half the battle and the other half is how fun/challenging it is to play.
5:45 the enemies dont show pain or flinch like in other games, the say "auch" but apart from the subtle hand they dont show pain, or somenthing
Man the combat looks good like the old games i like it
Tbf the old games didn’t have combat like this, they were more focused on stealth and the 1v1 combat was an afterthought until Black Flag

@Syvduck it's not. They've also been keeping a close eye on the official reddit post, videos, etc. That's what they mean by that.
