Loved the Vlog, went to Coco Cay about 10 years ago, enjoyed it… what we noticed is that people said the 3 day cruises were more for drinking partying and gambling, wereas we did the 4 day cruise and it was more families, maybe that’s something to look at to stay away from idiots in the restaurants. Look forward to Nassau, we went round Atlantis, the beach and walked round the island through a garden area with statues, was lovely enjoy 👍🏼

Great Vlog guys, such a Shame your dinner was awful , Jackie and I had same at sandals St Lucia in March , kimonos -teriyaki was similar , food very average and not much , ( I ended up having a snack from The beach snack bar later lol ) we were with our fiends , a nice couple from the USA and a miserable couple from The U.K. who did nothing but moan , and like you not impressed with the ‘show’ or lack of as next station was having a whale of a time with their chef . Coco cay looked great and hope you both have a great rest of your holiday 👍🏻and that key lime pie looked wonderful 👍🏻👍🏻

Andrew and Laura you a great couple and i love all your vlogs, but i have just caught you out. How did Laura know about the itinerary change and the fact that you were looking at an excursion that day when the holiday was a birthday surprise???
Andrew did say on the video when he told Laura about her Surprise that he hadnt booked anything and because it was Lauras Birthday , he wanted her to decide, so thats what they probably did once they were boarded . thats why she knew about the excursion. Maybe you didnt see that.
We started looking at excursions as soon as she found out, she was straight on the app whilest we were sat on the dock side bar 😆 on my planner it was down as leaving Nassau at 18:00 so she looked at a pig’s excursion that would have got us back to the ship in time…it wasnt until on the ship when they said 14:30 on the tannoy that i checked junk mail and found the change of itinerary…there is nothing to “catch out” lol 😆
Speaking of awful service... I just came back from Tenerife, I've been to Vegas Grill so many times in the past and its been amazing. Went the first night of my holiday, it wasn't busy at all and there was plenty of staff. We were seated served drinks and ordered my dinner super fast. Once i'd eaten they took my plate, didn't ask if we wanted more drinks or anything. We were ignored for about 40 minutes until I grabbed a waiters attention asked to look at desserts, we were then completely ignored by the dessert cart waitress, she went to the table in front of us, I tried to call her over and she ignored me. So after that I asked for the bill, paid in cash, the dessert waitress took the money and never bought the change back. I had to go to the bar and ask for it and they couldn't find my bill... I could understand if the place was busy, but it wasn't and they were all so attentive to the tables around me and my boyfriend. I felt really singled out, such a shame because it was my favourite restuarant in tenerife. :(
Interesting Andrew and Laura. Sorry to hear that your upgraded dinner was not as good as anticipated. I would say that there is an obligation with tipping in or around US? Sounds like that might be the situation here. In any case, not good to have unwelcome fellow passengers spoiling your special evening. Otherwise it looks like it was a lovely trip!
Loved the look of Coco Cay, the beach looked glorious. Pity the other diners spoilt your experience. Make sure you give them so true feedback. Tomorrow can only get better. 👍🏼

I went to Teppan Edo in Epcot which is the same kind kind of service. I loved the food but I hate how your experience very much depends on who you're seated with, we had quite a negative time so it was a once and done for us too. You should definitely complain though, the thing about the steak was wild!
I guess it’s horses for courses, we’ve had several sensational meals in teppan edo. As you say I guess it comes down to the chef and the participants. When in the states, if it’s not panning out, you need to speak up and complain. For this sort of money, it’s just not on!
@@stevenprigg8206 like I said the food was amazing but it's just the people were quite uptight and made the experience feel awkward as they were fighting amongst themselves or being difficult with staff. Nothing major and personally nothing that really warranted being complained about as such but the intimate nature of those rooms and being sat round the table made it an uncomfortable meal. If I went with a larger group so I was there with just my friends or family I'd have no qualms about returning but for an expensive meal I'm not going to leave it to chance about how my experience goes, not when there are so many other great options available.
That is so sad , you gave Laura a lovely surprise and some gobby people ruined what should have been a special night. You are a lovely couple, despite being scousers LOL. Next time we are in Tenerife, we visit a lot despite covid and love the island we would love to buy you both a drink. We feel for you both, you should complain to the pursers office and ask for a refund. Keep well enjoy blogs, only just found them❤️💋

So after that I asked for the bill, paid in cash, the dessert waitress took the money and never bought the change back. I had to go to the bar and ask for it and they couldn't find my bill... I could understand if the place was busy, but it wasn't and they were all so attentive to the tables around me and my boyfriend. I felt really singled out, such a shame because it was my favourite restuarant in tenerife. :(

Interesting Andrew and Laura. Sorry to hear that your upgraded dinner was not as good as anticipated. I would say that there is an obligation with tipping in or around US? Sounds like that might be the situation here. In any case, not good to have unwelcome fellow passengers spoiling your special evening. Otherwise it looks like it was a lovely trip!

I went to Teppan Edo in Epcot which is the same kind kind of service. I loved the food but I hate how your experience very much depends on who you're seated with, we had quite a negative time so it was a once and done for us too. You should definitely complain though, the thing about the steak was wild!
I guess it’s horses for courses, we’ve had several sensational meals in teppan edo. As you say I guess it comes down to the chef and the participants.
When in the states, if it’s not panning out, you need to speak up and complain.
For this sort of money, it’s just not on!
@@stevenprigg8206 like I said the food was amazing but it's just the people were quite uptight and made the experience feel awkward as they were fighting amongst themselves or being difficult with staff. Nothing major and personally nothing that really warranted being complained about as such but the intimate nature of those rooms and being sat round the table made it an uncomfortable meal. If I went with a larger group so I was there with just my friends or family I'd have no qualms about returning but for an expensive meal I'm not going to leave it to chance about how my experience goes, not when there are so many other great options available.
