As a plow operator, it isn't exactly fun to destroy trash cans and mailboxes but it does happen. Our job is to get the road opened up. We can't swerve to avoid every trash can there is. The people knew the snow was coming. They should have moved the cans prior to the snow storm starting. I will obviously swerve to avoid a human standing there or a vehicle but if it's just a trash can then oh well. I'll launch it off the road and into your your where it belongs
Awfully big cat for a residential street. Seems to going a tad fast, As a fellow loader operator I hope there’s no manholes / sewer grates in the middle of the road.
The company who pickup all the bin need to put off the street or the owner need to keep off the street. The city plow don't have time to stop and come out to remove your bin.
Actually your right! The waste company has to put them off the street and to add that they have to put them in a fashion not to block the homeowner from the laneway!
Do operators get promotions when they hit garbage cans? I guess it's a benefit of living in the big city...where I live, that's costing the operator from his or her paycheque to replace those bins.
Tja, würden die Leute ihre Kübel auf ihrem Grundstück, und nicht auf der Straße abstellen, wäre alles gut. Oder eben die Teile teinholen, sobald sie leer sind.
Bunch of Karen's in this comment section. Hes a city employee, hes not getting fired. It is your responsibility to take your cans in. The city does not have time, they need the streets clear so the city can open up and emergency services have access to the roads. No one is paying for anything, it's your responsibility.
They are empty and no issue! No damage and guess what? the city gives those for free so no big deal! Check out my latest video exact same situation but with full containers and you would never believe it? He goes around them
I absolutely wish we were allowed to plow like this. People here leave their bins out all the time. and we are forced to go around them. Not to mention we are not allowed to plow peoples driveways in either...
I like about this video is that he’s doing a wonderful job clearing the snow he’s going back and he’s making overpasses but what I don’t like about this video is that he showing no self respect for the trash bins and recycling Ben’s he should go on them around like there’s nothing which is practically what that machine will do he needs to show some self-respect For everyone in the neighborhood.
Thanks for the comment. It’s not about respect it’s about plowing snow! No time to go around empty bins! No damage no harm plus the city gives the bins for free
In your mind he should be going around every garbage can and leaving the windrow partially on the street? Or how would you and your years of experience have done it?
Or the home owners could put their cans back where they belong. I used to leave them out like that too. Got fined by the bylaw Dept for leaving them out after garbage pickup
That plow operator looks like he's having a blast smashing all those garbage cans without a single care in the world lolololol
We're lucky as heck to have people who don't give a rat's a$$ when they run equipment for the cities they work for.....
@@ronaldwidiger714 Move your garbage cans and they won't get run over

Love the way he takes care of the urban tumble weeds
Rest in peace those green bins and recycling bins!
Urban tumble weeds
Rip
Like how gentle the snow just slid the cans out of the way.
Canadian snow...its nicer I hear
Gotta love garbage day plowing
Nice job filming and nice defenition! Merci. J'adore!
He's just helping people take their cans in lol pushed em down the driveways
He’s a good plow operator, not beating on the equipment
Best to pick up your bins as soon as they’re emptied
Now thats how you plow!
Too dumb to grab your barrels?
Later barrels.
Great video, thanks for posting. Stay safe.
Thank you very much!
bins are empty they just float on the snow. if you look at the end someone put out the wrong bin and he went around it. good job in my books
Yes 100% agree! for some reason a few ppl are very upset! No harm at all!
At least someone pays attention
@@burnuts007 don't know why people are but hurt over a bin
another great video. thank you. keep it up
Thanks Will!
Nice 👍

He’s definitely getting it done! Those usually only get you the first time lol
Why cant he plow around them like agood loader oper would
Not his job, not his problem. His just is to plow the street. That’s it. If those people are too lazy to grab their cans, tough shit.
Well I believe he will get in trouble if they are damaged, it’s all on video and ya ,YOOOOORRRRR FIIIIIIEEEEEERRRRREEEDDDD🤦🏻♂️
He won’t get fired! This is normal!
Things to do places to be. Caint slow down!
Time adds up and lots to do

Moral of the story. Don’t schedule a snow storm on garbage day.
i really want new videos
I can’t bring snow! Lol
I got a magic trick, see them recycle bins…after plow now you don’t

Good thing not one bin was damaged! Also the city gives the bins to the homeowner
Maybe they should pick up their bins lol
😆
To him he dont care its a job

Nothing any worse than plowing garbage and Recycle day
Nice machine. If only they could get someone who knew how to run it.
He’s doing pretty good if you ask me!

Lol twerp
No, just move to another street or maybe delay the removal until cans are removed.
