Hey thanks for watching the video!
Long days man So happy for farmer's like you that work so hard to provide milk. Good on you. Hope you get enough rest
Thanks! Have been a subscriber since the beginning really appreciate your videos. My love and I are from upstate NY…..At 70 years old we would rather watch your and Neline’s videos than regular TV. We live near Albany New York which has a strong Dutch heritage….
Us, too! But not NY - a bit to the west 😉
Thank you for watching and thanks for the tip!! It’s the coolest to me when someone’s been watching for so long!
I always chuckle when you have the camera set up and the cows walk by and stick their face right in the camera. Some of them have quite the personality.
great soundtrack with the combine. Also, I really enjoy hearing your explanations, and show-and-tell talks in the field. You totally rock, Jan! Rob
Learning something new every new episode ☮️🦋💜
Great video. Not to fast, not to slow, showes just the right amount of info.great work. Thanks for letting us come along .
You and your family have a really nice farm thanks for taking us along I live in the US nice to see how you do things 😊
The front of yalls barn has a very nice morning vibe!
Thank you friend Jan for sharing another day in the middle of work. Very early you start the day with a variety of tasks. But it's what you like and you do it with dedication and care. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with your followers. 👍👍
I enjoy watching your channel because it is soooooo far out of my life experience and bonus it is teaching me what it takes to operate a dairy farm. Cheers from Regina.
Your videos are the best and I want to say Thank You for including us in your daily routine! Appreciate it!
Great videos, great content! Was born and raised on a family dairy farm in eastern South Dakota. Always made me chuckle when i would hear someone say they didn’t if they would be able to make it thru a 40 hour week!!! A 40 hour week would mean a 3 day work week for a dairy farmer!
Great that u store the abundance of crops for future years. God sure has blessed u this year
I’m terribly happy for your farm to receive rain at the right time, for the most part. I’m proud to have you as a neighbor (me in Colorado, USA).
lots of work...thanks for taking the time to share your experience!!
Jan, my great grandfather and his 3 brothers' homesteaders in the area you farm. My mother loves watching your videos as it gives her a chance to see where they lived. Great job! Love what you show.!
Hey Good morning ✌🏽
NICE looking sunrise time-lapse, Jan.
Love your videos , especially when the ladies check out the camera . Too funny.
Loved the drone shots and the sunshine. Sure wish you had gotten the rain that you needed. Great video and thanks.
Love the videos
Nice morning video of your farm. You make amazing videos. Little action a little noise a montage here and they balanced with real sound and music.
Good morning ❤️🙏🏼🦋☕️
Good morning from Yuma Arizona ❤
13:29 Whoa!! Beautiful shot! And a bit overwhelming … that’s a HUGE field!
As always great video, always enjoyable. Thanks for sharing Jan.
Beste Jan,

Great video brother from the imperial county ca 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Jan and Neline your videos inspire me and their our a few other dairy farmers as well give you all 💯present of cleanliness and keeping up on maintenance on machinery.
We Farmers and x farmers know it will cost a fortune to keep machinery going and the animals feed &watered , breed them to have calves ,raise them . and vet fee’s. We all do our best to have healthy animals . Buy from auction and sale them .
Keep up the good work been watching you all ever since you started your videos it’s awesome to watch.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊
love the video mate, fellow dairy farmer in Australia
Great video as always. Maybe explain lifecycle of dairy cow from birth through milking, becoming non profitable and transition to cull to sell for beef. How many offspring will each cow average?
That drone footage was exceptional 👌
Hey Jan, 360 cows twice a day; how often does your dual trailer milk truck come?
Great video Jan, very informative. Barley straw, by many, is considered the best straw for bedding. Holds position well and very absorbent.
Cheers!
I drink several glasses of milk daily, I see the hard long work that's in my glass! Thank You
Yes, but they don't raise almonds.
Great Video!
There is a big rain system heading your way !
Tx for showing the feeding
Nice video of the sunrise
Parlor blues…Pied Piper? - lure with that…dribble, dribble, drip…beautiful sunrise and accompaniment…whoosh…back out from “snug fit”…not the K.I.S.S. hoped for 😉…Yay, Nic!...love the musical choice for the baling/combining montage; imagery so beautiful - as usual…a “boy” and his “horse”
GOOD MORNING ALL GREAT VIDEO
Your after milking time lapse was really cool 👍
We just are content riding along with you. Personally I find you a very peaceful person.
Enjoyed!!! ❤❤❤❤
Awesome video. thank you guys
Agree with you on the drought! In Brandon we got all that rain early and nothing later!
GOOD JOB!
Seen one cow limpingpretty good
So? Positive they have already done something about it
Hope to more of you after all these combining and baling is over… 👍
Jan -- When you were getting the cows up from their beds I noticed one was limping as she was walking. You might want your hoof trimmer to take a close look at her rear hooves. Watch the video and you will see.
I guess with the rain yesterday and today and what may be coming yet you should see some drought relief.... but will slow down your baling canola straw. What is good for one aspect of farming is bad for another. Good luck in the coming days.
A trip to the milk plant that you send yours to would be interesting, at least for me the city slicker
Good video.
Got love milk 🥛 conala looks realy nice for odd yea. I put up lot of gardening videos up on my channel from summer till know . Are little in town gard produced 200 + jalapeños. Pick 147 potatoes oit one small bed . Tomatoes grow like a bad weed.
Few farms up road got wheat and few othe grain ready to harvest. Those fields show holds some nice deer come winter and waterfawl.
Hope you noticed the lame cow in group 1.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol the cows are very inquisitive about the cameras sometimes it’s like they are trying to get noticed
Enjoy whole video and your comments as well. The straw that you got this season will save your farm a few bucks.
Hey Jan ! I think at the beginning of the video I saw a cow limping ! 😮😮😮
At 1:55 you can see her limping ! 😮😮😮😮
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Je bent lekker bezig ouwe
You gotta show the DeLaval app and the stats it can show.
I think Mike north farm is doing better. We have the same in Wisconsin right now. No rain for two weeks and 80 degree Temps.
Dude 14:01 was a confusing perspective lol looked like the combine was goin' backwards!
Watch Piet Van Bedaf dairy in North Dakota He just had a video on what he feeds his dairy He has feed from 2020 and milks five times more cows Not complaining He is inspirational with what he does
We all saw the poor limping black cow, I’m sure you guys are already treating it Jan, don’t need us to tell you. Where’s the Hoof GP when you need him? 😂
The same thing happen to us in east quebec
Spreader has a flat again??? 9:02
Im very interest in the "end of harvest reveiw"
👍
At 9:11 very flat tire on GFA !
Hope you pay attention to world current events especially trade relations with China. Much success with your decisions. Cheers from Edmonton.
I like South sask farmer...he does drop f bombs..and he is a grain farmer with a small meat heard..good Ole channel..if yall are interested
Can you imagine milking 2100 head like farming fixing and fabricating.
Can you imagine milking 4000 head like farming, fixing and fabricating?
@@daveklein2826 Are you OK ?
I'm great, how are you?
🇨🇦👍
Around 1:53 of the video I noticed a cow limping. She might have something wrong with her left front hoof.
When you sell your canola do they buy it by the pound or kilo or by the bushel? I suppose it doesn't really matter you're going to get docked for the size of the grain anyway, right?
I'd like to hear the breakfast chatter about getting a robotic milker...
Over here in australia 🇦🇺
Are crops are verry bad we wont
even get a crop it is sad
I noticed at 1:55 in the video there was a cow with a bad limp
What will you do with the time saved when the robots start doing the feeding?
Geniet van*
Sorry to see the flat tire on the manure tanker in the background. Tires are not your friends this past year it seems.
Jan what is your sleeping schedule when you are on the morning milking schedule? I would guess you go to bed about 8 or 9 in the evening, am I close?
So maybe Kanola is a crop you might wanna avoid think some fall rye or tritacle would be more beneficial
Really??????? So you think that you know more than they do? WOW ANOTHER RECLINER PROFESSIONAL
@@daveklein2826 it was just a question?? Jeez keep your shorts on buddy!
You might be matching Sonne farms with the amount of flat tires this year but I am sure you are leading them on cost per tire.😢
Do you have a beekeeper that keeps hives near the canola fields?
Tom lamb bale blaster worth a look?
Question: if you ground up straw would a cow eat it if it was mixed with other food?
Yes, if well mixed. But very little nutrition in it. Probably more useful as bedding.
One of the cows have a bad foot
Do u have a plan for placement of the bales?
Did the world champion take-off
you have a cow limping at 155 - 200 min mark
👍👍👍😜😜😜😜
🇺🇸🙏🇨🇦
Punky winkerbean ok
Is Brent a full time employee and is he family
👍👌❤🇨🇦
❤❤❤🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿👍
You had one scene near 14 min which looked like the combine was moving backwards. Why did you show it that way?
I wonder if he noticed the tire is flat on the liquid manure spreader?
DUH
