Im curious if anybody has climbed the rock face at dunloe Castle in West cork. A spot that is amazing to film too. Would be a great one for red bull to cover
I've been lucky enough to climb with both Will in Squamish and Iain in Donegal. The sea stack he took me to was a baby compared to this! So cool to see them having a hell of an adventure together!
Iain really is an awesome guide and climber! I had the chance to go climbing with him in Donegal about 2 years ago and it has been a really great experience! He took us to a waaaay smaller sea stack, which was perfect for us beginners! I recommand any climber who goes to Ireland to get in contact with him!
Hi Christophe, you're exactly right, the rock on top wasn't really rock :). I climbed over the ridge and then down to a place where I could get a really good brace with my feet going. With the friction of the rope over the grass and rocks above me and then back down it was really solid. It's an alpine climbing tactic, not for catching lead falls, and you have to keep the rope tight but it works. Thanks for checking it out!

How do you belay the follower and how do you rappel? There doesn't seem to be any trustable rock on the Highest unclimbed sea stack you climbed.
