I’m on a current weight loss journey also, 4 months ago I was touching 100kg, today I’m at 90kg and I’d like to lose a further 15-20kg. I’ve always been over weight for the majority of my life even though I am still 17, eating was just a way to deal with the shit life throws at you. Already saving up for better road bikes, including a wahoo kickr for my self and to get my dad who has had Parkinson’s for over 11 years to help him with his disability and weight loss. Thanks for uploading content like this, another source of inspiration.

OH and I started to run, and I'm hoping the better than most mentality will work for me too. Thanks Mark, you are helping me to be better. BTW the mrs shit a brick when she found out how much a 3px costs 😂😂🤣 I don't think I'm allowed one.
I have a goal for trying to run a sub 5:30 mile but jesus 5:11 for a mile is actually crazy fast, the fastest guy at my school ran a 4:50 mile, so your not very far behind, if he was to pace you going at 4:58 mile pace, you would break 5 for sure easily, keep going at it and eventually you'll break 5 minutes, the only thing I really see is that your form is a bit interesting to say the least, you're swinging your arms a bit wider then most people would, but other than that you could run a sub 5 minute mile eventually
Hats off to you for all the hard work. But why are you doing a bodybuilding split routine, when you're training for an ironman? If you have unnecessary muscle mass, it'll slow you down. I'd be reducing volume of everything and stripping out aesthetic exercises. Deadlifts can be 'heavy' but cut the reps. Maintain strength, reduce muscle fatigue.
mark lewis loving the videos! Just so you know if you are happy with your current muscle mass switching your gym work to strength instead of hypertrophy you will not loose any muscle mass. Not only that you will obviously increase your strength which will therefore improve your performance on the swim bike and run. Also if your main concern is loosing any muscle mass you need to make sure you are in a calorie surplus. im about 11 to 12.5 as well 10 percent year round is hard BUT it can be done i just get too skinny at 10 percent
