From an outsider’s point of view, I do not believe it was an error for Israeli people to leave the Gaza Strip in 2005. It was a plea from Israel that they allowed the Palestinian people to have a state of their own by scarifying some land. Now, the jihadist saw this as weakness and an occasion to weaponize themselves instead of developing social prosperity and economy for their people.
