- Port Talbot Steelworks is one of the largest steel plants in Europe. It currently employs 4,000 people in the local area. In January 2024, Tata Steel announced that around half of those jobs will be lost.
However, Port Talbot's thriving football scene is stepping up to make sure they can offer help, solace and an escape to those in their communities who need it most.
A film for the people of Port Talbot.

wow a great short video! love it guys
I'm from the town but moved away in 1990, I loved this video.
Such a great piece and a really important story to tell. Well done all, I hope there's more to come.
Superb piece, I wish noting but the best to all in this clip in such tough times
Nice film. Would be great to see more follow-up shorts, as our town goes through this trauma.
Great piece! 👏
Brilliant, well said 👏⚽
Another industry that we were happy to privatise and sell off.. to end up being sold to a company who don’t care enough about local communities. Another symptom of privatisation not working. Such a pity for the local and surrounding communities.
