You’ve singlehandedly gotten me playing again with all these great arrangements! I learnt the solo on bass a long time ago but can’t wait to learn this and put it all together. Keep up the amazing work, merci de Montréal
@@petrerasov7013honestly I did so many I wouldn’t be surprised if I bent the d and g strings out a few cents on that solo. Also I tweaked the truss rod to get the action right, it’s been buzzin in this cold weather, so the intonation might be off a bit. Hope it doesn’t bother you too much.
This was absolutely amazing... I've just listened for the fourth time back-to-back and I'm speechless until now... It's amazing how much flexible can bass be! And even more with a formidable bass player handling it haha
Thanks for listening and the kind words! Yea, a big part of the drive behind this channel is exploring possibilities on bass. If someone watches and says "I didn't know you could do that on bass!" I'm happy.
The whole song in one take, pure class man ! What an effort, love your work as always. I did 2 covers of your on IG and tagged you ! Out of curiosity, can we play the forbidden riff on bass and get away with it ?😂
Dude you’re amazing! I just checked out the songs you put on IG. You nailed it. Makes me so happy to see and hear these arrangements get played. Well done! And I think this is the even more forbidden version lolllll
@bassfaceinspace ahahaha much appreciated, man ! I've been working on arrangements throughout my childhood, and I'm happy to find someone with the same passion. Keep having fun !
Ah I see, I'm also rocking a ray 4 without pickguard haha and I recognised the oval shaped screw holes, but I didn't know they made sterling with this reddish metallic color, very cool
@@bassfaceinspace - Fantastic job here! I love your video posts, and I'll admit (as another youtube bass player) that I refer to your posts all the time. @@milomufich it’s a sub sterling. It was that first wave of music man basses that were affordable. Got it about 20 years ago. I’ve always wanted a Stingray, sometimes this thing is just too bright. But it has that ever important 21st fret unlike my pbass.
I would've never realized it, but stairway to heaven with a more predominant bass sounds like an RHCP song 😮
You know now that you mention it, there’s a lot of similarities to my arrangement of otherside. That’s really cool actually! Good shout.
this is the best arrangement I've seen in my life. holy shit
Thank you! This is definitely a step up from my other arrangements, but still have more to come! Cheers

5:20 Let's get it
Hey, the bass sounds impressive! Great job. Please tell us what model/company guitar is this?
I'd love to see what you would do with this arrangement with Piccolo Bass strings
And it makes me wonder... why some need 6 strings
How do I donate? Or do you have a Patreon??
There’s a “thanks” button next to like and share under the video that brings you to the “super thanks” page. You would be the first donation!
Has Charles Berthoud seen this?
Charles is a bass god. He does it one a 6 string, fretless, tapping, harmonics, I would be honored if he ever heard or saw my humble arrangements lol.
is that a music man without pickguard?
Yea! Good eye. I was supposed to get a custom one, but the artist ghosted me. It’s music man Sterling sub.
Ah I see, I'm also rocking a ray 4 without pickguard haha and I recognised the oval shaped screw holes, but I didn't know they made sterling with this reddish metallic color, very cool
Why do all bass players on youtube seem to have huge fingers?
Lolll the camera adds 2cm.

They get 1.5 times longer when I play, too.

Is this a music man without the pickguard?
Yea! Good eye. I gave it to an artist that said they would build me a custom one and then they ghosted me. I think it looks pretty cool! 😎
I like the color of it. I'll have to see what mine looks like without the pickguard. I play on a retro 70s, what type is yours?@@bassfaceinspace

Песня неинтересная
Ревер на говно наложить можно, но композиция от этого говном быть не перестанет.
To be fair, I may have overdone the reverb. Is this regarding the arrangement or the original composition?
