😁😁John you definitely have Jersey withdrawal symptoms!!! 😁😁😁 Thank heavens for you ....you keep the views up on my old videos! I hope all is 👍in the Boro!
With a follow on to my recent comments on St Aubin I have to say what a brilliant insight you give on St Aubin it's an excellent laid back approach and I think anyone that hasn't been to St Aubins would certainly think about giving it a try in future.Very well presented nice one well done to you.
Ahh ..Bergerac great viewing TV series .Sean Arnold who played the Chief grew up in Wickwar,Gloucestershire not far from my old buddy .When I first went to Jersey (1976 the long heatwave ) four of us stayed at Quennavais camping site right by the airport.Met a girl a couple of tents away and 2 weeks of great times the other lads was somewhat jealous 😡😡😡. As always Tom great work .👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Lloyd, I'm loving your memories from the 70s mate! Fantastic........and fair play to you, living in a tent didn't cramp your style!!! 😁😁😁Thanks so much for your comments!👍
Hello my friend has Paddy ever been to portelet Inn down the steps to a beautiful beach is it plemont I remember there being wàs it pontins or Butlins at the end I have seen Billy Butlins grave I think it wàs on the way to the zoo can you enlighten me ! All the best John 😊
Hi John, Yes - Paddy has been to the Portelet Inn and to the beautiful beach below which is Portelet Bay. There are 2 videos with Portelet Bay on - "Paddy loving life at Portelet" and rather bizarrely "Seaglass, another German bunker, the plague, a pyramid and Paddy finds a sausage!!!". In the latter we go to another beach first by the Smuggler's arms but end up at Portelet! I'll have to do some research on Billy Butlin. I was aware that he died on the island but my memory is not as good as yours! 😂🤣
Hi, I really don't know. The beaches used to be packed all summer. I think it's maybe down to the average Brit holidaying further afield nowadays or that people are more careful about lying out in the sun than they used to be. Oh and thank you for your positive comments! 👍
