- Hello ragers, I hope that you are all doing well. Now, PAQ was easily one of the best fashion oriented series on youtube. Myself, and I'm sure many of you all, have very fond memories of it. however, it wasnt all great and awesome and cool behind the scenes.. hence, today, we will be taking a look back at PAQ - more specifically, we will explore how KYRA TV, the company that initially launched the PAQ series, ultimately ended up mishandling the channel and disregarding the creative vision of the on-screen talent that lead to the success of PAQ in the first place.. we'll also be checking in on what the PAQ boys are up to now :3

It was such a great concept. It’s surprising that no one has taken the concept and launched it again with other hosts. But oh well, you don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone PAQ will always live in our hearts as such a unique and social moment in online fashion content. I watch the old eps or old times sake once in awhile

Yeah another PAQ type of content would be great. Might be some big shoes to fill tho so idk if it could hold up well against the original. But maybe enough time has passed by now for this to not be a problem anymore.
I live in Germany and a new channel called asnc is doing some fashion competition vids that remind me of PAQ. The 4 guys that are hosting it are all really cool and have their unique style (even ran into them at a store while they were filming lol). Idk if their vids have subtitles but if they do feel free to check them out
@@fhtv I was thinking about what’s needed for another PAQ and it’s quite a lot. I mean you need camera crews, robust audio setup plus editing crew. Not sure we’ll ever see a series like it again.

I guess its mostly because creating content like this costs a shitload of money. You need a at least 100k per episode to produce videos on this level and the appropriate partners to get your money back. At 4:15 vice wrote that they closed a 7.3mil round of investment. Not that easy to achieve

Loved this series, how everyone of these guys had thier unique style, Elias always had craziest outfits, Dex master of black, Danny more on elegant side and Shaq and his dungerees 😂.

this brings so many memories man, the fashion scene back in 2017-2020 was just different. Now it seems everybody doing the same exact shit and wearing the same copy and paste fits. Lets not forget tiktok and their goofy ass ''influencers''. Brands like Undercover, cdg, raf simons pushing out straight garbage to please the current trends instead of creating art with each collection. Fashion just doesnt hit like it used to, at least for me.

PAQ is the best fashion content this platform has ever seen! I don't think we'll be seeing it again because I think they will end up going down the same cycle. Sad but it was great while it lasted..
PAQ literally changed the way I looked at fashion back in the days. I'm ashamed to admit since their departure i've fallen off in terms of trying unique looks and fits, but it was incredible at the time. Would love if they came back in some way.

they had something really organic in the way they aproached fashion, the personalities, the challenges the actual content... i've seen the PAQ gang hanging in some fashion shows so it will bee great if they came back now that they are deep into the fashion society
Wow this vid just brought back all the mems! PAQ was such a monumental part of my life back in 2019-2020, I’ve probably watched all the videos, and they really introduced unique style to me in an artful and fun way. I felt like I was part of their group. Thanks for reminding me of that time 🥲 Long live PAQ hopefully they can recreate that magic together at some point !

These dudes really got me into fashion, loved all their videos and always had super original ideas and concepts for videos and awesome editing
I'm super suspicious of Kyra TV... They seriously seem dodgy. I didn't watch PAQ that much but I remember seeing Drew Phillips and his friends get a series with them that went super quickly downhill, around the same time that PAQ did, and we've never gotten an explanation exactly as to what happened... They would likely be under some sort of NDA I guess but I've always been really curious about the details with that. That series was called Field Trip, the YT channel is still up.
i can’t remember exactly but i’m pretty sure they spoke about it in one of their podcast eps (emergency intercom) with josiah, i believe they said that because they couldn’t have full creative control they couldn’t really fulfill their vision so they decided not to continue with it (that and covid), pls correct me if i’m wrong though, they spoke quite a bit about it but don’t remember it clearly
Man I remember when I found PAQ and binged all the episodes that were out at that point. Such a great show.
Wasn’t really into fashion back in highschool but this show was super entertaining eitherway just cause their chemistry was impeccable between them, rest in peace to this wonderful show with sweet memories I will cherish.

I used to watch these guys, was entertaining to see the different challenges these guys did.
These guys had so much swag.
this really highlights the delicate balance between those who fund and back the projects and those who actually do the labour to make the project. they really can't exist without each other. without kyra's initial funding and high-level concepts for highly produced RUclips episodes, the guys wouldn't have met. but without the fashion expertise and chemistry of the PAQ crew, there wouldn't be this incredible phenomenon at all (which then allowed for KYRA to work with even bigger brands and have even bigger goals).
as the video said, KYRA was a young company so they probably had little wisdom when it came to managing success (for themselves and for their roster of talent).
at the end of the day KYRA messed up badly and disrupted that delicate relationship but i'm grateful that this lightning in a bottle situation even existed in the first place.

wow.... I've just remembered them out of NOWHERE and how I was obsessed with them and then... I found this video. So sad to know why and how it ended, my heart broke with Shaq saying he had to work the same day and the next day that his DAD died. What a sick fucking company. Thank god the boys and the girls are free from that hell
Can’t say I’m well versed in Fashion but when I first started paying attention to what I wear PAQ kinda brought me into this alternate side which at the time wasn’t Hypebeast stuff. Peaked my interest and sad we won’t see these chaps again
PAQ and NAYVA helped me get into like fashio for self expression and like different aesthetics
Loved this channel/the guys and been thinking about it quite a bit recently, clicked immediately when I saw this lol, hope to see more from them.

As I sat in the esteemed MATH 442: Differential Geometry of Curves and Surfaces, I found myself becoming increasingly disinterested in the discussion of harmonic analysis. In a moment of impulsivity, I opened my Mac and was startled to discover that I had left the music of Bladee Unreal on full volume.
As I became overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, I found myself unintentionally uttering a series of profanities (very audible n bombs were included). Despite my bi-racial heritage, this did little to assuage the concerns of my classmates.
In a fit of panic, I frantically searched for a solution to this most unfortunate predicament. It was then that I recalled the password to my Mac and quickly switched the audio to Bladee Mall W Word.
As a coping mechanism for my anxiety, I repeatedly played the boing sound, using the scrubber to skip to it at will. However, as I became increasingly absorbed in this activity, I began to experience an embarrassing physiological response.
Worried about the potential visibility of this, I quickly realized that I had forgotten to remove my occk ring from my topology homework, causing a noticeable bulge in my attire.
It was at this point that I realized the gravity of the situation and took steps to rectify it as discreetly as possible.
Any tips?
