It was such a great concept. It’s surprising that no one has taken the concept and launched it again with other hosts. But oh well, you don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone PAQ will always live in our hearts as such a unique and social moment in online fashion content. I watch the old eps or old times sake once in awhile
Yeah another PAQ type of content would be great. Might be some big shoes to fill tho so idk if it could hold up well against the original. But maybe enough time has passed by now for this to not be a problem anymore. I live in Germany and a new channel called asnc is doing some fashion competition vids that remind me of PAQ. The 4 guys that are hosting it are all really cool and have their unique style (even ran into them at a store while they were filming lol). Idk if their vids have subtitles but if they do feel free to check them out
@@fhtv I was thinking about what’s needed for another PAQ and it’s quite a lot. I mean you need camera crews, robust audio setup plus editing crew. Not sure we’ll ever see a series like it again.
I guess its mostly because creating content like this costs a shitload of money. You need a at least 100k per episode to produce videos on this level and the appropriate partners to get your money back. At 4:15 vice wrote that they closed a 7.3mil round of investment. Not that easy to achieve
this brings so many memories man, the fashion scene back in 2017-2020 was just different. Now it seems everybody doing the same exact shit and wearing the same copy and paste fits. Lets not forget tiktok and their goofy ass ''influencers''. Brands like Undercover, cdg, raf simons pushing out straight garbage to please the current trends instead of creating art with each collection. Fashion just doesnt hit like it used to, at least for me.
Loved this series, how everyone of these guys had thier unique style, Elias always had craziest outfits, Dex master of black, Danny more on elegant side and Shaq and his dungerees 😂. Adidas episode was my fav.
Elias was the goat every episode i was fighting for my life in those comment sections against those FredPerry-core Danny fans and the "I have 30k debt from my useless art degree" core Shaq fans
PAQ is the best fashion content this platform has ever seen! I don't think we'll be seeing it again because I think they will end up going down the same cycle. Sad but it was great while it lasted..
PAQ literally changed the way I looked at fashion back in the days. I'm ashamed to admit since their departure i've fallen off in terms of trying unique looks and fits, but it was incredible at the time. Would love if they came back in some way.
PAQ meant so much to me, they were what got me into fashion I can't thank them enough for it. I really do hope the reuinion comes as some sort of closure or continuation
they had something really organic in the way they aproached fashion, the personalities, the challenges the actual content... i've seen the PAQ gang hanging in some fashion shows so it will bee great if they came back now that they are deep into the fashion society
Wow this vid just brought back all the mems! PAQ was such a monumental part of my life back in 2019-2020, I’ve probably watched all the videos, and they really introduced unique style to me in an artful and fun way. I felt like I was part of their group. Thanks for reminding me of that time 🥲 Long live PAQ hopefully they can recreate that magic together at some point !
Wasn’t really into fashion back in highschool but this show was super entertaining eitherway just cause their chemistry was impeccable between them, rest in peace to this wonderful show with sweet memories I will cherish.
Well its a shame the PAQ boys disbanded. They were a great team. They had many inspiring ideas. Thank you guys for your beautiful work your outstanding commitment. You will be missed but not forgotten. You guys keep fighting and keep rocking us with your creations. Good Luck boys!
I'm super suspicious of Kyra TV... They seriously seem dodgy. I didn't watch PAQ that much but I remember seeing Drew Phillips and his friends get a series with them that went super quickly downhill, around the same time that PAQ did, and we've never gotten an explanation exactly as to what happened... They would likely be under some sort of NDA I guess but I've always been really curious about the details with that. That series was called Field Trip, the YT channel is still up.
i can’t remember exactly but i’m pretty sure they spoke about it in one of their podcast eps (emergency intercom) with josiah, i believe they said that because they couldn’t have full creative control they couldn’t really fulfill their vision so they decided not to continue with it (that and covid), pls correct me if i’m wrong though, they spoke quite a bit about it but don’t remember it clearly
Can’t say I’m well versed in Fashion but when I first started paying attention to what I wear PAQ kinda brought me into this alternate side which at the time wasn’t Hypebeast stuff. Peaked my interest and sad we won’t see these chaps again
this really highlights the delicate balance between those who fund and back the projects and those who actually do the labour to make the project. they really can't exist without each other. without kyra's initial funding and high-level concepts for highly produced RUclips episodes, the guys wouldn't have met. but without the fashion expertise and chemistry of the PAQ crew, there wouldn't be this incredible phenomenon at all (which then allowed for KYRA to work with even bigger brands and have even bigger goals). as the video said, KYRA was a young company so they probably had little wisdom when it came to managing success (for themselves and for their roster of talent). at the end of the day KYRA messed up badly and disrupted that delicate relationship but i'm grateful that this lightning in a bottle situation even existed in the first place.
Interesting video! I remember loving this show early on and watched it religiously, but it got old and formulaic later on and I stopped. I didn't even know it ended
I didn’t know a random comment i made out of boredom during peak quarantine period would make its way into a video, more so in a video from a creator I’m a huge fan of 🙌🏽
wow.... I've just remembered them out of NOWHERE and how I was obsessed with them and then... I found this video. So sad to know why and how it ended, my heart broke with Shaq saying he had to work the same day and the next day that his DAD died. What a sick fucking company. Thank god the boys and the girls are free from that hell
Danny from PAQ has a really good podcast called dansplaining where him and a co-host Jordan interview/chat shit with people in the fashion industry, content creators and music artists. Would really recommend checking it out. Edit: put this before I saw the video. Anyway definitely listen to the podcast
I really don't like that the show ended I've been re-watching a lot of their video as of late and I'm now almost through all of them and I'm beginning to realize that it's actually over 😭
Kyra TV had a gem and ruined it with greed. Sad thing is that if the lads pitched the show to investors, they would have laughed in their faces but they give millions to clueless businessmen instead
[Chorus]
Yeah, I got my chains on, fuckin' your bitch
I got some ice on my hands, my ears, my wrist

Talkin' 'bout a hundred on hundred on hundred on hundred on hundred, bitch, do the math
Talkin' ’bout some money, some money, some money, some money, some money, I'm talkin' 'bout that cash

I'm gettin' richer and richer and richer and richer and richer, bitch, oh, yeah
They hatin' on me 'cause I'm the young nigga that went and got to the bag

Bitch, I'm on fire like kerosene
My boy bang the Five, yeah, he bleed
I was with that fire, yeah, I was really outside, fuck a blue check on IG
I keep some blue strips all on me
I spent twelve hundred on some sneaks
I'm spreadin' the swag like a disease
He smokin' swag, that boy cheap
[Chorus]
Yeah, I got my chains on, fuckin' your bitch

very very true, even like older complex videos felt so much more genuine - a lot of stuff now just feels so corporate idk

Actually there was a channel called asnc germany which tried to do it, but they couldnt finance it anymore

nayva and paq were SO GOOD. genuinely sad when they seemingly vanished.
They were fake shows ! All scripted
paq got me into fashion and made me want to better my style in every way possible
real !!
Paq really was ahead of it’s time really sad to see it end how it did
So ahead of its time, I loved it!!

very real, i think a lot of people feel this way tbh
said as if everyone wasn't wearing the same balenciaga shit back then 🤣🤣
copy and paste fits were worse back imo
🤣🤣🤣
replace 2017-2020 with literally any year , ur just getting old
Loved this series, how everyone of these guys had thier unique style, Elias always had craziest outfits, Dex master of black, Danny more on elegant side and Shaq and his dungerees 😂.
Adidas episode was my fav.
i miss PAQ man but i’m glad PAQ and NAYVA are out of that toxic environment and are free to do their own things, great video FH ❤
They taught me so much about fashion and finding your personal style. Love the PAQ boys. That 2017-2020 period really was sum special
I love how all the boys are doing well. It makes me happy.
PAQ was legendary fr, loved them guys n their different views n styles
Elias was the goat every episode i was fighting for my life in those comment sections against those FredPerry-core Danny fans and the "I have 30k debt from my useless art degree" core Shaq fans

they had something really organic in the way they aproached fashion, the personalities, the challenges the actual content... i've seen the PAQ gang hanging in some fashion shows so it will bee great if they came back now that they are deep into the fashion society
PAQ was rly everything to me at one point like they were the only RUclipsrs I watched
damn, finally someone is speaking about this !!. It was like yesterday watching PAQ videos...
Wow this vid just brought back all the mems! These dudes really got me into fashion, loved all their videos and always had super original ideas and concepts for videos and awesome editing
I have rewatched PAQ over and over, heartbreaking!
Such an influential series and one of the main reasons a lot of guys got into fashion especially here in the uk.
thank you so much for making a video on this, I loved them, and still do. PAQ boys 4 life.
I was not expecting to see a video about this topic. I loved both PAQ and NAYVA! They had great personalities
such love for paq used to watch them back when they first started
theyre such a good group and not to mention even deepened my interest in fashion. def going to miss this silly group doing their silly challenges
I really miss watching PAQ. Happy that the boy are flourishing in their respective endeavors.
I think about these guys all the time I always wondered what happened to them
I’m still mourning this show. It was so dope and I felt they had more in store. I still follow their careers and I ♥️ their friendship and banter. 🔥🔥🔥
These guys had so much swag.
I truly love all the four boys for different reasons 🥺
I loved their videos, I always wondered what happened. Their concepts were so good and well executed. Nothing like it since
PAQ and NAYVA helped me get into like fashio for self expression and like different aesthetics
I used to watch these guys, was entertaining to see the different challenges these guys did.
such a GOATED show.. hope the boys continue to do well.
Well its a shame the PAQ boys disbanded. They were a great team. They had many inspiring ideas. Thank you guys for your beautiful work your outstanding commitment. You will be missed but not forgotten. You guys keep fighting and keep rocking us with your creations. Good Luck boys!

PAQ and NAYVA kept me goinggg fffr
I was so lucky to have gone to their meet and greet in London despite being from Singapore. 🥰
Loved this channel/the guys and been thinking about it quite a bit recently, clicked immediately when I saw this lol, hope to see more from them.

They where ahead of there time fashion and entertainment wise
I was rewatching a PAQ video when I got this notification lol
paq was so entertaining to watch. challenges, concept & energy was just superb. why hasn't someone recreated it? clearly a winning concept.
I didn’t know a random comment i made out of boredom during peak quarantine period would make its way into a video, more so in a video from a creator I’m a huge fan of 🙌🏽
