I also relocated across the US and I also miss my friends back home. But YOU are amazing and super awesome and you and your family will make friends in no time. Even your "blank" pages are brilliant.

I so appreciate that you post two versions of your videos. I have ADD and if there isn’t talking in the video I can’t concentrate. I miss a lot of beautiful hobo/planner flip throughs/process videos because they’re quiet. So, thank you for considering everyone ❤️ I love your art/videos- I always get so inspired! I hope you have a wonderful new year!

I love the tip for evening out the Hobonichi spine! I saw you do it earlier and have been using it since then.

Thank you for the lovely flip through and for sharing your struggles as a mom. I'm sorry you're going through a rough transition right now. Moving can be such a jarring change to a young family. You're such a good mom letting your kids play in your journal!

Love hearing about your journal and the experiences that lend to your sweet pages. tfs Mits... I pray that you find some sweet friends for you and the kids to interact with and the loneliness will pass very soon. Blessings Mits xoxo Suzanne from Toronto

Loved it Mits, such a shame that there are no young families in your new neighbourhood it must be hard. Sending you hugs. xx

I loved the tip about what to do when your journal gets too thick. I was struggling with trying to journal & take photos like that. It has made everything so much easier. Have you tried Mijello Watercolors? That is what I use & I love them. They are very pigmented.

Happy New Year, Mits. 😊 I'm happy to have found your channel, and subscribed.
I was wondering, how would I make a fauxbonichi? Do hobonichi and fauxbonichi have to be artistic, or can it be just writing? And is it just a page a day? I'd love to try starting one. 🙂

Hello! Thank you for subscribing :)
Hobonichi/fauxbonichi absolutely do not have to be artistic, they don't even have to be daily. You do what you want to do with it. So if you like to write, just write :) If you want to write 1 page one day , but want to write 3 pages another day, that's ok too! The only thing with the Hobonichi Techo is that it's dated, but if that doesn't bother you, I say write what you want to write :) You can always cover the dates up with washi tape or stickers :)) If you're a big writer though, and you need more pages, there are other lovely notebooks out there with more pages. At the end of the day, as long as you're having fun, de-stressing, that's all that matters , just enjoy !
      Thank you again!

@@MyLifeMits Thank you for the advice! 🙂 I've been thinking about using my large soft cover dot grid as a fauxbonichi (since I don't have the money to buy a Hobonichi Techo at the moment) and just writing 3 pages daily. 😊
Or maybe, I can use a composition notebook for a fauxbonichi? It's something to think about. 🙂
