@@Baratako0 well the crown vic is a rwd 2.5L V8 with around 250hp, and the newer Escapes are AWD (for interceptor model, but is also an option for civilian models I believe) with up to a 3.0L V6 twin turbo making 400hp and 415lbsft of torque 😳 But the Escapes are definitely heavier with all the gear and mods it has, esp K9 ones, at over 6000lbs! But that Audi Q5 is AWD 2.0L Inline 4 single turbo pushing 300-320hp, and is wayyy lighter than both, so that's why he was able to leave them, and why the crown vic was able to keep up, for the most part

Kudos to the officer driving the Crown Victoria, his driving skills were the best ive seen, and hes giving constant updates. Every officer needs to spend time learning from him.
And a huge shout out to the Crown Vic itself. What a truly great car, it is such a shame the Ford stopped making them. In my 22 year career i mainly drove Crown Vics or Merc Marquis, and was so sad when we retired them and went to SUVs. The SUVs are great for lugging around all your kit, but no where near as capable or reliable. The 4.6 Liter Panther engine is one of the best motors ever made, and they are virtually indestructible. Add in a police suspension package, and they stick to the road like they're glued.
Im retired now, but i drive an 05 Marquis that was a former state supervisor's car, its got 152K and purrs like a kitten, and i just bought a mint 98 Town Car which uses the same 4.6 Panther and transmission. I live in northern New England, so rust kills these cars long before the wear out mechanically. If you do the regular routine maintenance on these cars, they will run forever.

This video needs to be used in training for other PD as it shows amazing teamwork, the way they worked together and communicated to get alll 4 suspects that quickly.... Bravo Officers, Bravo!!👏🏽

I think it needs to be used in training as an example of when a chase needs to be called off because it's become far too dangerous to the public.

It was a gamble for the officers and thank God it worked however too dangerous and not because of the officers but the criminal driving wreakless could have killed a family

@@tonemcduffie1812 Exactly. The point of calling off the chase is not to prevent the officers from causing harm, it's to prevent the suspect from causing harm.

The first officer was on point in his lead in this chase, great driving, and calling out his chase on point he was not affected by the stress of the chase... and it seemed like his mind was calm and clear as sometimes one can get tunnel vision anyway. an awesome job done from this officer for sure... He should be a trainer...

Squad 2, the crown vic, needs a raise by far. Their driving is phenomenal. Love how it's a supercharged crown vic too and STILL out preforms newer units. They're great cars.

I know it's hard to believe but teenagers are actual people who, regardless of how they've been raised, may make their own decisions and do their own things. I know the common consensus is that kids are just basically cl9nes of the parents that they can control with a snap of the fingers but just like you were growing up, and are as an adult, you may be a lot different than your parents, have different beliefs and goals, and are a whole, separate person with your own mind. And as much as we might want them to, parents can't exactly quit their jobs and literally sit on their kids until their 18th birthday to keep them from doing whatever they'll do. These kids have been in trouble before and obviously just don't care about punishment or consequences. Some kids are just little criminal a-holes and there's not much you can do about it but hope they don't hurt anyone before they get a real big boy sentence.

The part that I didn't find surprising at all was the fact a Crown Vic out performed all the newer vehicles and didn't choke once. I'm not a Ford guy but I will always respect a Crown Vic
