it's interesting how, in the european comics, Rockerduck was essentially a replacement for Glomgold.
And he never ate his own hat
That's the thing that disappoints me the most, i'm fine with all the other changes but they should have use that gag at least once.

I totally agree. Here in Italy he is quite popular, comic books authors have been using him for decades as Scrooge's main rival, whereas, on the other hand, just recently Glomgold has been rediscovered.
He's called Klaas Klever in the german version and he is my favourite villain in the comics.

I finally learned his real name , in the Arabic comics scrooge is called دهب (dahab) Wich translates to (gold) so basically his name was gold and John or the duck in this video was called فضه )fedah) Wich translates to "silver" and glomgold is ياقوت (yaqut) Wich translates to "emerald" I did learn they're real names but "silver" was what I always called him

"I'll butter your bean" is something my siblings and I used to say to each other all the time and I could never remember why. Now I remember.
I know this character was mostly used as Scrooge’s main rival in the Europa. (Im from Denmark). In one of the comics I’ve read. There’s a few occasions actually. He treats Donald far better than scrooge does. While scrooge always pays his nephew incredible low. Rockerduck (or anderbilt as he is known in Denmark) actually pays Donald (Anders) very decently, even giving him higher pay-outs sometimes.
Admittedly I’m mostly neutral about Rockerduck but that purple-haired duck (she’s right next to Louie at 7:35) looks pretty cool. And yes I do pay way too much attention to background characters in this show 😂

Im suprised with the change of Rockerduck and Glomgold.
In comics, Glomgold is old and Rockerduck is young (well... maybe 50 or 60 years, but still younger than Scrooge and Glomgold)
Meanwhile in this animation, they made Glomgold young (he wear a fake beard) and Rockerduck old
When i first Rockerduck on this show, i thought he was going to be their version of Rockerduck's father (who was Scrooge's friend in comics), not the Rockerduck himself
