OMG! I just discovered this guy, and from his tips to his smiling, just fabulous! I am so going to marathon all his videos right now! Have I mentioned his smile? Lord!
Hi Doreen glad you love it , just thinking of getting one myself but wondering if KO suits for a cool undertone I'm medium skin with cool tones and can't wear yellow
Commenting on a 10 year old video 🙂...I LOVE RCMA foundation. I am the color Gena Beige - no idea why this one has someone's name versus a letter number combo. But it is great for my pinkish fair skin. I have been playing with Ben Nye, William Tuttle, and Joe Blasco cream foundations (samples from Camera Ready Cosmetics). I have the olive palette (GB is the lightest shade in it), and I can use the darker colors when I am a bit tan or as contour. Awesome stuff!
Commenting on a recent comment from a video over 10 years old and I am excited to give this foundation a try. I am a little nervous about picking my shade, but I think I am P110 in the liquid foundation. Did you buy a sample before getting their makeup?
@@99Mary99 Yes, I got samples from Camera Ready Cosmetics in a few colors. It was very helpful. Their customer service is excellent as well. I have emailed them asking for color matches in different brands. Good luck!
I use the Colour Caramel foundation that it's also made with natural oils. My skin is quite oily and I was more than skeptic about the idea of trying an oil based product (oily skin, oily product ?)but I have to say it works great. It melts perfectly into the skin, it's matt and it doesn't make my skin look shinny at all .And it lasts very long in perfect state (no patches). So, I recommed you to try an oil based foundation because they seem to be very good products, ever for oily skins.
Is there anyway that you could do another video on this makeup? It is very hard for me to figure out which, what, whatever I should buy. I am very interested, but am not even sure where to start with the process. Thanks...
+teatime rants YOU are so right about this . I went to their site and emailed , and they replied asking which colors I had used in the past , like what colors of this and that kinda thing . I let them know different ones , and I also said to them my skin is pale . They told me which palette to purchase for the fair skin . The pallete appears to have the exact colors of my skin . I haven't used it as of yet with being sick , but I will use it , soon . I believe it has 5 colors , not in the room it's in at the moment . I can see these colors are going to be exactly ones I need for fair skin. Oh ! I also purchased their powder , and bought the largest as that gave more product , and a better price than the small powder . Can't wait to use the palette . Sorry about the long talking , but wanting to help if I can .
Thanks SO much for the info....I somehow missed the first comment...thank you teatime rants and Tarya Bentley. Both of your comments will help me a lot. Enjoy your new products Tarya. I am so excited for you :)
You are so welcome . I will try and remember to go back to the info. where I purchased the makeup named RMCA . I believe it is Beautylish . As I said previously I emailed the company letting them know I want to purchase their makeup with seeing it so highly advertised on a lot of Utube channels . The lady ask which products and colors of the products I had used in the past . I gave her the info. about this , and she decided I needed to go with a certain pallet . I let her know my skin is fair , and about the same color as Kandee Johnson , a Utuber . So , she suggested the one I purchased . I will try and remember to look this info. for you tomorrow of the place I did buy the makeup from . I have this info. on my emails . If I do forget please get my attention and I will look for you .
I contacted this company after seeing his review, and they are so nice. Free samples sent quickly! I just bought a full size, it is my exact color match. Love it, thanks for introducing me!
I did hear that for beginning makeup artists this brand and graftobian (for U.S. artists) are two good starters. I just looked up the pigment for Kat Von D. and its 20 percent. I simply cant believe how much pigment you said these contain.
I think this vid is amazing I have been on the lookout for some make up free of "nasties" with pigment payback and long wear. My concern is buying a shade online and it being a poor match. Would love to be able to swatch. Any suggestions? x
My brother uses it for special effects coverage. He's the head sculptor at Smooth On which produces prosthetics and other things for sculpting. The products are featured on Face Off in the US. This is an absolutely wonderful palette with no need for concealer. It is also realitively inexpensive considering what you are getting! Thanks for featuring RCMA!
You were not kidding. I ordered a few samples to find my perfect shade and I was so impressed with this foundation. Just ordered the full size. Thanks for recommending it.
This is why people recommend you Wayne, you have the passion the know-how & no matter how big you get you still value things like a companies people, customer service ect. Will be looking into this company for sure, thanks!!
OMG, thank you Wayne for sharing this makeup line. I got my samples of this line last nite, and this is the BEST!!! Ahh!! So happy. The compliments ive been getting today and people think its my skin. I am deep dark toned woman and for women of color this is it!!!! My hyperoily skin loves it and it is 100 deg outside today with 100% humidity. They have the widest most realistic range of colors EVER. I am beyond happy today. THANK YOU!!!! I am going to order my foundations today.
You know when someone recommends a show or product to you and you blow it off for years, and when you finally try it you’re kinda mad that you didn’t listen earlier? I’m having the best skin day of my life and I’m mad about it. 😂
I went to their site right away and they do have TONS of shades! Plus, they will send you a sample for only $4 ($1.00 for the product and $3.00 for shipping) to test out the shade to make sure its the one for you. Who does that anymore? The coverage is amazing! I've tried so many and wasted lots of money on products that don't even come close to this coverage. The little pot that they sent will last a long time because of the coverage of this foundation. Best product suggestion for me in awhile. I would prefer to support companies like this who make a product that is truly worth your while. Thank you!
1:23 That's not actually true. RCMA uses parabens! Isn't it kind of hypocritical, considering they're the "Research Council" of Makeup Artistry? Shouldn't everyone be trying to find safer alternatives to these preservatives? I purchased a series favorites palette and it clearly lists propylparaben on the back! I guess worse things will kill you in this world, but it's still not ideal...
Thank you so much for your videos. As a person who has struggled with super sensitive skin. Your tutorials and videos have changed my life and confidence. RCMA and eshiko really works so well together, I even found pretty good color match. Keep up your wonderful.videos
Ann Smith You can order it from Beautylish, they have also have consultants to help you find the right shade for your skin tone. I'm in the U.S. and ordered and ordered a smaller pallete from Beautylish with 5 shades for fair skin and I absolutely love it! The best cream foundation I've ever used and it doesn't cost a fortune!
raquel mendoza I meant to tell you that if you use primer, you need to use an an oil based primer. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil works great for me with RCMA foundation, it doubles as a moisturizer and does not clog my pores or cause any breakouts.
just been to the company's website and looked at foundation...how on earth are you supposed to know what the letters stand for or what shade you and tone and base pigment you are O.O even to buy samples because you can't get to a store that sells them or gives advice.: (
+Lou Booth I sell Alcone which is R.C.M.A. and we have a method for finding your right color for you and have a really cool line of products.Limelight by Alcone which is a company that has been in existence since 1952. Our company has supplied makeup to proffessional makeup artists all over the world, movie stars, movie sets, etc. my email is heatherkloes@yahoo.com if you would like to know more..
The RCMA foundations photograph better than any other foundation I've ever used. Absolutely brilliant. I just wish the palettes didn't sweat oil, but I'd gladly deal with that for the result it gives.
I just ordered samples today and yeah their customer service is soo good. I am dark skinned so have a nearly impossible time finding foundation colors to match my skin tone. Very excited to try them.
Why would spend money on a pallette that contains foundation for all tones? I'm cool, so why would I want all that yellow stuff? It doesn't make any sense to waste your money on it.
Well, as i'm a makeups artist it makes sense to have more than one colour - hence the palette. For everyone else, that isn't a makeup artist, as mentioned in this video, RCMA sell everything in singles colours too.
Hi Wayne, every once in a while people's suggestions really hit the nail on the head for me. Recently, it's been Reyka vodka and Paula's Choice cosmetics. I got a bunch on QVC and love them. Thanks!
This and your brushes are on my ⭐wishlist⭐ one more thing I just love your look on make up a bit of coverage but always natural and so pretty. Thank you for all your help.
Daniela Radda it is the best makeup for oily skin. I have excessively oily skin, embarrassingly so, and this is gold. I prime first with Milk of magnesia and then Smashbox photo finish primer from sephora. I apply the rcma makeup with my fingers and set it under my eyes only with their No Color Translucent Powder as it dries matte. the MoM primer is also the best and cheapest for oily skin. I get compliments nearly everyday & I have had this makeup for few a weeks. It last ALL day & looks like
I love RCMA! I just started using it after trying Graftobian and Mehron. I just use my fingertips to blend it in and I think it works better than a brush or blender sponge. My skin is horribly dry and most products flake off. I went to an event in 100 degree weather in the hot sun and when I got home, it still looked great! So impressed!
Mine is MAC PRO LONG WEAR. I have used it for ten years so I was beyond devastated when I found out it was discontinued and I wasn’t alone. They must have been flooded with complaints Women from all over the world were upset. I shopped @ Mac for everything else too from primer to finishing spray but it was the Pro Long Wear that brought and kept me there. I even called customer service hoping to change their minds....lol...I was a the very bottom of my last bottle and desperate! They tried to convince me that the waterproof version was as good or better. It’s not! Wayne what is a comparable product out on the market right now? Thank You
The fact that I can watch this video and not care whether its sponsored or not shows how much i truly trust your judgment. You are one of the real gurus on youtube and by far my favourite. Thank you for making amazing, to the point, informative and TRUTHFUL videos.
For my Mature Skin is the best foundation the Dior Capture Total Serum Foundation. This foundation makes a very nice result. It settles in no crease, the skin is very moistrized the day and it has a nice shine. Another foundation that I also like is from the company Sisley. Many greetings from Germany. Have a nice day.
OMG! I've been obsessing over getting this product for about 2 weeks now, and I hated (being a small company) that there wasn't any good videos on this foundation. And now there is!! I can't wait to see the tutorial!!!! I love you Wayne!!
I saw this video about a year or so ago and ended up purchasing one of the rcma foundation palettes as a starter for my makeup kit. I have absolutely loved it and always have awesome results. I just revisited this video bc im about to purchase another palette... I wanted to say thank you for this review/recommendation. Your free advice and knowledge has been so helpful to me throughout the years. Thanks for all you do!
Wow...that's amazing. You don't look like you are wearing any makeup.... You look like you have amazing skin. Thanks for the tip, can't wait to give it a try!
(Just in case you haven't heard this,) I've read that the "RJ" shades were created for Robert John Wagner, Jr. (what he wore on "Hart to Hart"). My jar of "Clear" arrived yesterday (wanna test-drive it, before investing in colors, on the off-chance my skin goes berserk) - wonderful texture. I see the first 3 ingredients are isopropyl myristate (IPM), castor oil, & carnauba - explains why it feels like lip balm! I recently got a bottle of IPM gel, as a solvent for something else, = bonus. xoxo
Just ordered it and am so amazed at 1. How cheap it is 2. That they have my shade (very pale) and 3. That it can be a full coverage foundation for my acne! High hopes I feel like it was meant to be because everything you suggest I can never get my hands on in Australia! Thank you soooooo much, amazing videos xo
Please do a makeup tutorial on ways to achieve sheer, medium or full coverage with this foundation! Sounds lovely that it is so pigmented but I will guess that it will not be that easy to work with.... hmm..
I love RCMA, I could not imagine not having this in my kit. It works awesome on all skin types and tones. It covers beautifully without caking up. This stuff is AMAZING, this is what I use on all clients. This is truly my HG foundation! Thanks for this awesome review!
Do you have any tutorials with this foundation? Would love to see one - does the pigmentation make you apply it differently? I'd also love to see swatches of it next to popular or well regarded foundations. Always love your videos! Thanks!
PLEASE do a video using this foundation! I purchased a palette for my kit based on your reviews, but haven't fallen in love with it as of yet. I've only used it twice on clients because I don't have time to "figure it out" on a gig. The colors for deeper skin tones seemed a little ashy and the product is so thick. I REALLY, REALLY want to love my palette. I'll have to take some time to use it on myself and figure out if sponges or brushes are best. Until then, it's my Graftobian palettes!
I love the fact that you are showing so much support to those companies which do not have as much resources as the big well known ones. And I must say that the amount of things I learned about make up in the short while I have been following you has been amazing. The only person I use make up on is me but...you're making me just love it. Thanks for all you're doing.
It's so hard to choose the right color online. Having tutorials using the different shades would be helpful! My favorite foundation is the Makeup Forever HD liquid, but I love trying new things. Thanks for the info.
I think the bonus about the RCMA range is that they have such a wide range of colours, which is gret because our skin tone changes with the seasons and for people like me who are mixed race or those of us more chocolate tones these are perfect, not many brands cater well or coloured skin
Wayne, Lisa has perfect skintone. Can you do a tutorial of this product on someone with hyperpigmentation or melasma, so we can really see how well this foundation covers up problem areas?
speaking of lovely..I think you are.. You're genuine and friendly and want the best for ppl and im so glad i found you on here.. Thankyou so much.. i'll continue to watch and tell all my friends to also..
I just received my RCMA samples and found 2 (KO7 & MB1) that I can mix that are perfect for my caramel colored skin with yellow tones. I love it !It is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this review. I'm going to order my compacts now! Awesome!
Camera Ready Cosmetics will ship RCMA products from the USA to the UK and have a wider range of products and sizes than love-makeup. They also sell sample shades at around £2.60 each (plus postage).
Wayne, you are the best headache medicine for me, really! I just go through Your videos and somehow they give me some relief, maybe it's Your voice, or humor or mimics or.... Ah who cares, love you!
Hi Wayne, we use this at MU school and it goes on beautifully but we are in a very hot humid climate and no matter how we set it, all creams including this one seperate and melt off.
Can't wait for the tutorial. I was a makeup assistant on a film and didn't really get the best way to use these RCMA foundations. So I ended up using Atelier Paris liquid foundation instead. I didn't like using the RCMA with a concealer brush. I just found it dry on the brush. Maybe a sponge is better ?
I love you!!!! You have got to be the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, guy on RUclips. Your voice is so soothing and you are so very informative! You are truly beautiful inside and out. I just thought I would let you know that :) and great video btw. It's nice to hear an unbiased review :)
I just started using RCMA. I have been using the shade porcelain for a pale goth look. So far I like it. I have been trying out some other pale shades too. I want to fine a pale 1920's style shade for when a super pale goth look wouldn't be appropriate. I love that RCMA sells samples. Given the versatility of their foundation I want to pick up some of the clear foundation to play with. I bet you could mix that with pigments for custom lipsticks and blush. It would be awesome to rock a lipstick shade no one else has.
I wear the "RCMA" foundation, it's my first day. "Not probably" but for sure is the best foundation ever! I have use "HD make up forever", Double Wear Este, Mac studio fix, Kett fixx cream, more or less are very good product, but RCMA is by far the best makeup, I mean it. The description of Goss is true. Thank 's G
Yay have had a response, for those of us unlucky enough to not be in the us, they have international distributers and are very helpful and willing to help you find the product you require!!!!
I have super pale skin and bad acne and I used Lancome Teint Idole in Beige Ivoire as a base and MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus in NC15 on top (the MAC was a little dark, so I would recommend lighter). They cover everything, and keep things matte too.
ohhhhhhh my God you had St saved my life. I've been looking for foundations forever in cream coverage. I ordered the dermablend too expensive for me to keep repurchasing ( single mom) I never heard of celebre I just ran and ordered on Amazon ohhhhhhh my GOD thank u sooooo much. your now new name is " life saver" ;)
Hey! So I discovered you with the app Beautylish. You are fabulous..so easy to understand and I love the way you break stuff down! Thanks so much! Keep it up!
I love RCMA! I only have 2 issues with them, 1) is that they are very pink tinted and 2) they are not great for problem skin, you have to use a lot of correcters. However, if I have someone with perfect skin, this is my go to for sure!
Got my samples of RCMA last week, can't wait to narrow it down and figure out which color is best. There's a PDF guide out there that will help guide you in the right direction based on your current foundation color.
Rebecca White no it is not Ok to use stage makeup off stage. Coming from a junior high actor, stage makeup is used to enhance feature from afar . stage makeup is very thick and for the face is about 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin color to make your face stand out. Hope this helps.
Can you do a video on how to properly use this foundation? I spent nearly 600$ on these foundations and the RCMA thinner and sure enough I'm having one heck of a time using them. Little help is needed. How to mix, what ratio of thinner, best way to apply, how to cut down the shine specially on darker skin. My colored models looked beautiful in person but I had a hell of a time mattifying them down for the camera and I still got a flashback. Sigh... Your help needed. Thanks!
And to reduce the typical morning swelling make some ice cube’s of your green tea. This will help reduce the swelling and help constrict large pores without using any chemicals.
I am glad you shared this I ordered some of the samples to find my shade they were temp.out of the big pallets I'm glad I know what you were using that looks so great
Thanks for all your information. I have just started watching your videos. I was in a makeup routine that wasn't working for me anymore. What worked in my 20's and even 30's, doesn't work now.:) so I started watching youtube to get ideas. I really like your videos and think you have a wonderful personality. Keep it up!
Thank you for sharing this. Could you, please do a demo on how to use compact foundations, the different tools that give different finishes and so on. I'm just so used to the mainstream liquid foundations, I'm afraid, I'l just cake up half of it and compleately miss out on the experiance...
I'm pretty impressed with myself haha, I didn't realize this was Goss's favorite foundation when I purchased it. However I bought the VK palette and not the color process foundations he appears to have. I doubt they are very different though. SO excited to play!
Thank you for this video. I checked out their website and the foundation doesn't have a bad price at all. Thank you so much and please do a full review on a girl with problems with acne please :)
You are one of the few people on youtube i feel i can trust. And you just seem like a genuinely nice person. Thank you for your honesty and especially when you show us how to save money and not buy into the label hypes!
been wantin to try a nice cream..Have semi dry skin..Fave foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear Light..provides such a natural finish that matches my skin like no other brand can. Stays put, dont need much
This guy seems like he is the nicest guy in the world.....and so handsome.
Stephen what is that saying? All the Good ones, are either gay or married ! He really is a sweetheart !
He is the nicest and so handsome. 🦅
Also cruelty free!!
OMG! I just discovered this guy, and from his tips to his smiling, just fabulous!

you have a beautiful spirit!!! :) Thanks for all your knowledge!!
At first I wanted your videos to be longer, but now I love that they're short and sweet and to the point. I also love that you don't ramble

You were not kidding. I ordered a few samples to find my perfect shade and I was so impressed with this foundation. Just ordered the full size. Thanks for recommending it.
Is this makeup recommended for very dry skin?
This is why people recommend you Wayne, you have the passion the know-how & no matter how big you get you still value things like a companies people, customer service ect. Will be looking into this company for sure, thanks!!

Richelle D honey, let's me honest. any product with no paraben will spoil in just matter of weeks
Jethro Pablo there are safer preservatives other than parabens.
Richelle Davis Limelife by Alcone is a similar product without the parabens!!
Thank you so much for your videos. As a person who has struggled with super sensitive skin. Your tutorials and videos have changed my life and confidence. RCMA and eshiko really works so well together, I even found pretty good color match. Keep up your wonderful.videos

You can purchase them as single pans from a LimeLight by Alcone rep as well. You also get personalized care and color matching help.
DoxyLady because these are professional pilots intended for make up artist to do make up on all different people you can also purchase them separately
This and your brushes are on my ⭐wishlist⭐ one more thing I just love your look on make up a bit of coverage but always natural and so pretty. Thank you for all your help.
"RCMA" Foundation, just so no one else has to waste their time.
mspixiedust100 he said it less than a minute into the video how precious were those 40 seconds to you lol
Aubri LOL right?? Some people's kids..smh!
It's in the description too lol
Thank You
RCMA makes a truly amazing product. It was the first palette I ever bought a makeup artist and I love it dearly. Thank you for featuring them!!
Yes. Many makeup artists do "acne" videos, but few do melasma. The color correcting is so different (I have it). Thank you for mentioning!
I recently got a bottle of IPM gel, as a solvent for something else, = bonus. xoxo
I LOVE the Kat von D foundation from Sephora.
Full coverage, matte finish and they have a shade that matches my incredibly pale skin, which I love.
I think you are probably the most polite you tuber I've ever seen. I absolutely adore you!
I am SO GLAD to hear this! I am attending school for makeup next month and I think that we are getting am RCMA foundation palette in our kit. Yay!
I just received my RCMA samples and found 2 (KO7 & MB1) that I can mix that are perfect for my caramel colored skin with yellow tones. I love it !It is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this review. I'm going to order my compacts now! Awesome!
Please do a video on the best way to apply this foundation. It makes my pores look huge with my fingers!
Asian bb creams! I discovered them a few months ago and instantly fell in love with these products!
I swear saying anything you like, and I would buy it in a heartbeat! Always trust your reviews! And always love your videos!
I love you!!!! You have got to be the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, guy on RUclips. Your voice is so soothing and you are so very informative! You are truly beautiful inside and out. I just thought I would let you know that :) and great video btw. It's nice to hear an unbiased review :)
Great to know some small companies do great products, and thanks Wayne for sharing your passion and expertise with us!
Have you retried these lately? What do you think is better than this now that it’s been 11 years
I have super pale skin and bad acne and I used Lancome Teint Idole in Beige Ivoire as a base and MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus in NC15 on top (the MAC was a little dark, so I would recommend lighter). They cover everything, and keep things matte too.
to me the best foundation i ever used is the lamcôme miracle.!!!absolutly glowing and healthy skin.trust me.
ohhhhhhh my God you had St saved my life.
Just ordered a sample of Ivory foundation. Will let you know how I like it soon!
Hey! So I discovered you with the app Beautylish. You are fabulous..so easy to understand and I love the way you break stuff down! Thanks so much! Keep it up!
I must say that you are by far the most enthusiastic and passionate individual I have come across on youtube, keep up the great work :-) x
I absolutely LOVE rcma Foundation! It's magical! I put it on and it's so full coverage and smooth and just amazing.
I love RCMA! I only have 2 issues with them, 1) is that they are very pink tinted and 2) they are not great for problem skin, you have to use a lot of correcters. However, if I have someone with perfect skin, this is my go to for sure!
Mac NC20 translates to RCMA Ivory. It's posted on camerareadycosmetics foundation conversion chart. Hope this helps!
I can't wait for the tutorial. I was wondering how you apply this, and does it accentuate pores?
Got my samples of RCMA last week, can't wait to narrow it down and figure out which color is best. There's a PDF guide out there that will help guide you in the right direction based on your current foundation color.
Rebecca White no it is not Ok to use stage makeup off stage. Coming from a junior high actor, stage makeup is used to enhance feature from afar . stage makeup is very thick and for the face is about 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin color to make your face stand out. Hope this helps.
When ever you say you have a tutorial coming up I check your channel so often I can't wait to watch it and try it!
How did I miss that video!?!? Thank you! I've recently started using Bio Oil on my face, i've used it for scars on my body and it's really good.
Keep it up!
I find this works best with a sponge then buffed into the skin. Be super careful around eyes as it can run so powder really well.
Thank you for sharing this. Could you, please do a demo on how to use compact foundations, the different tools that give different finishes and so on. I'm just so used to the mainstream liquid foundations, I'm afraid, I'l just cake up half of it and compleately miss out on the experiance...
I have a question...do you have one blue eye and one green eye? That's absolutely brilliant!
I'm pretty impressed with myself haha, I didn't realize this was Goss's favorite foundation when I purchased it. However I bought the VK palette and not the color process foundations he appears to have. I doubt they are very different though. SO excited to play!
I love RCMA!! I am working ti get my certification as an mua and my first purchase for my kit was the shinto palette. Really great for all skin types!
I love your videos. They are really helping me figure out what products to invest in as an aspiring makeup artist.
I love you. I always use your videos on my blog. You are a great teacher. You keep the solution short and simple.
been wantin to try a nice cream..Have semi dry skin..Fave foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear Light..provides such a natural finish that matches my skin like no other brand can. Stays put, dont need much
