The Hand Drawn Aesthetic of First Stage was something special. I never really liked the overuse of CGI after that. I can only imagine how awesome would it have been had they drawn the races by hand too.
Having the races hand-drawn would cost much more and it would take a lot more time to finish the show too. It made sense to use CGI but I do agree 100% that having them hand-drawn would be awesome

Fourth Stage will always be peak CGI use. It blended pretty well with the drawn aesthetic.
