It's really funny how the first half of the questionnaire is a precursor for the 2nd half with how often Preach says, "...but not in XIV"
24:11 - If I were taking it as a WoW quiz, I'd have ticked yes for Garrison/Mission Table addons. Closest equivalent (even if quite distant)
24:42 - Narcissus counts, I'd say, if you've ever used it.
26:11 - I'd say a Blizz Rep contacting you in-game without you submitting a ticket would count, if that's applicable. Especially since GM Island has been deprecated for the vast majority of the game's existence at this point.

if the general feeling around the game was different regarding addons or if he was involved in higer-end raiding earlier on in ffxiv the answers would be very different, also cant discount the effect livestreaming to a community that hold them accountable to the ideal of no-addons has

11:21 Yeah, I've definitely never stood in a deadly AoE marker, and then used rescue & icarus on sage to swap places with someone and get them killed because they were annoying me during the pre fight when someone was watching a cutscene. Who would do that haha...ha..ha.

@@Seraphina_FF14 It's asking if you've caused a wipe by refusing to stop dps on adds or multiple boss when it would be better for you to go back to single target.

Usually it's the other way around - kill the adds in time or you wipe. ^^
Haven't done a lot of difficult content so far - only some Coils and Unreals and I don't remember there also being such a case.
Oh.. wait... the AR with the big eye.... you can technically wipe there if not enough players focus either the boss or the hourglasses.
But usually it's hourglasses in the first phase and boss dps when they spawn again.
But these scenarios are kinda rare .... well... wipes in general within normal content.

Idk the tech is already in the game, the mod just makes it show up for player chats. I guess it technically counts, but it’s not like the mod is actually changing how an aspect of the game looks or functions

just google it lol ive never used it cause i dont have high ping and main MCH without any issues double weaving but from what i've seen in zeplaHQ etc's videos talking about mods before that it works by like spoofing your latency or something and lets you double weave or worse which is pretty noticeable if you do anything beyond double lol
I like and am currently playing FFXIV. I like that the community is (on a whole) better than the WoW community with helpfulness and understanding.....but.....I'm starting to get this feeling that its going to the extreme the other direction. Like, you have to walk on eggshells around people not to offend them.
You would be correct. XIV is just as toxic as WoW, it's just different about it and more passive aggressive about it.

It would be better worded as "given someone gil to pay your sub", as FFXIV does not have a token system like WoW. It also wouldn't really benefit from one as gil has very little value atm.
really? lol you give them gil they put their credit card/crysta/whatever on your account to pay for a month and then immediately take it off after the purchase, which YES means letting them log on your account which is sussy wussy and prime way to get hacked lol

This is the dumbest questionnaire I have ever seen. The first 40 questions were the same question just rephrased.

... except for reshade. The game is like 10x more pretty and shiny. Gotta use reshade man. He'll use chat bubbles but no reshade? He's missing out.
without reshade, the game is too greyscalled to me, and reshade let me make it more colorful, especially the blue hue.
@@LordFakeGodz You can improve the look of the game a lot by just turning down the gamma correction in the settings. Reshade is not strictly needed.
Ye reducing the in-game gamma helps a lot. Also if u're on NVIDIA, they have their own filter that's simple & works really well. No ReShade needed.
