Oh, and about his name: the romanization has always been "tai-to" as in "Tight" but with a Japanese accent, so you keep doing you, man

Well done man. What separates his art from other mangakas is that noodly-ness, it's a very delicate, graceful style he's going for. If his art was a special move it would be called "Silhouette of wind". I'm sure he'd like that too.

I've seen many drawing tips videos that talk about clean lineart, but to me drawing with multiple short strokes that make the line rough makes it all 100x better.
I don't mean making a mess of wobbly lines, but just giving it some dirt like in this artstyle makes it look more artistic in my opinion.
i think whichever works for the artist is good. but the dated notion that clean lineart is better is cap to me, i think as long as the work comes out the way the artist wants its a W
Your tutorials have helped out way more than the bigger named channels. I've tried everything, and nothing clicked for me. Most of the bigger channels talked for so long and didn't show basic shapes etc. I've been trying to connect how to draw anatomy for the longest and your tutorials really helped. So just saying, you should continue doing them.

Yo dude this is awesome thanks, I've been wanting to write my own manga for a really long, for me learning how to draw is hard but when I watch your videos it pushes me to continue trying to make one. Could you please tell me which order I should go about making my manga? It's just for me it's been really hard with learning how to draw finding inspiration making a story, if you could tell me that would REALLY help, again thank you so much your videos really inspire me to try harder.

Hello Mark, I'm a mangaka that have been struggling for a while with my art. I've marathoned your videos and I have seen how good you are with drawing the body, torso, head,etc. I'm asking for you to please put up tutorials on how to draw the body and as well as you do. Kinda like whyt manga or kuzomari. Doing so will help me and your community out greatly to be coming great comic artist. Thank you
hey! first off ill say that i 100 percent put out a video like this at some point in the future. the thing is my really careful of what type of information i put out there for others to absorb. i myself im still a victim of watching a bad tutorial and absorbing it and until recently i struggled to get it out of my habits. as of me writing this comment, im still studying the human anatomy and as of now i truly dont believe i have a strong enough grasp to teach anyone, but given how much time ive been putting it actively practicing, that time will come soon. :)
Copying others is HOW you create you own style.. as a musician i play all instruments...no matter what....even if i cant ill do it over and over

I really like Bleach when I was younger still do , in fact that was the reason that I choose Tite Kubo's art style in bleach for a 10 art style challenge..I wish I would have found this sooner cuz I thought I did a good enough job but now I'm sure I made lots of mistakes.

I would love to draw in the style of kubo and hoshino "d gray man" for hoshino id go for the backgrounds. Characters id go for kubo's style with some of hoshino in there.

DD Markk : An art style is a signature.
Me who always keep changing my signature : I missed the part where that's my problem.
Sometimes you are a man with a thousand signatures, I even want to be a mangaka who uses all of them.
As a person who is more on the thin/lean side, I actually appreciate kubos anatomy when it comes to this because most other anime styles make thin people look anorexic or the body portions just look wrong.
The reason i want this artstyle is bc i drew too much jjk now my drawings look like its rushed

how do you copy/study kuzomari art
to copy his art you have to analyze it the way i do in these videos and then after analyzing use your observations to practice and repeat and eventually you'll get it
