"Once we knew our animals were safe (...) we could start to think about ourselves" - we are responsible for the lives we have in our care when they are unable to fend for themselves, such an inspiration.
I am literally crying my eyes out... this is so devastating...And then, seeing people helping each other, even knowing that they lost everything, caring for the animals and all the rest... it's just beautiful. I wish I could do something to help...
Even if you donate a few dollars, whatever you are able to, it's better than nothing. It all adds up. It is empowering as well, makes you feel less helpless, well, because you are actually helping.
He is such a caring man, I’m happy to see he’s going over again to help out because so many animals will need expert help. I also love the fact that people go out of their way to help heroes one and all.
I can't imagine the terror and heartbreak suffered by humans and animals during this tragedy. So many heroes, including Bondi Vets are to be applauded for their lifesaving of the precious animals. May God grant strength and blessings to the victims.
You guys are doing a really sacred job by saving animals devastated by floods. Hundreds of animals wash away in natural calamities such as floods every year. Animals suffer because of people's deeds and because of them exploiting the resources available to them such as the environment. May God bless you for your wonderful work.
All the vets here are absolutely amazing, Scott and the twins and every other one helping these poor flood victims are superheroes. I can't imagine what the people of Australia have been through, my heart is broken for them.
Scott you are an amazing human being. Thank you for all you do for injured, sick animals and wildlife. You are definitely an angel 😇 for them. I love watching Bondi Vet. I only found this channel about 6 months ago. Thank you for all you do for them ❤️
Such an unfortunate disaster..I hope everyone recovers from it x Also, thank you guys so much for helping all the animals! They really needed care after such tragedy, your vets are too kind
The look on everyone s faces is so very sad. But, the little girl with the mother and son that saved their animal; is really telling of the horrible devastation of the flooding. My heart goes out to all the people that saved the people and animals!🙏
Every morning I’d wake-up and come on RUclips to find out how the floods were doing and everyday it got worse and worse. I saw the group of cattle and the horses on the bridge with the people and it was so upsetting. Thank you Dr. Scott and the twins and all the other volunteers that helped during and after the floods. My heart goes out to all those that lost their much loved animals.🤗🤗🥰🥰💗💗
Now that's why I love Bondi vet SOOO much, This is love and compassion. Ty Bondi vet team for helping our Australian neighbor's with their animals just looks so devastating and heartbreaking. All the floods and animals lost is just not fair. I'm from New Zealand and with my whole heart THANKYOU SO MUCH
Scott is such a wonderful man, he did not have to go out of his way to return to Australia and help the animals, he could have just stayed in London but he didn't. He's always so sweet to the animals he cares for
Having been through floods not once but 3 times and losing everything each time I truly feel for them. God bless them all! Praying for all of them and their families and animals! Blessings on all the vets who are volunteering to help them as well! You are all truly wonderful young people! God’s blessings on you all!
Gut wrenching and heartwarming in equal measure. The strength, bravery and shear will to survive shown by both animals and people is inspiring. Kudos to all those who helped during the flood and after including Dr Miller.
Hi Bondi vet! You are so inspiring to me especially being so young and looking up to you. I absolutely love animals and for that reason I am vegetarian! Anyway you are all so inspiring and when I watch you it just makes me want to become a vet myself! I love watching you guys help animals and i would love to speak or meet you all one day! Thank you for everything you do and I hope you know how much we all appreciate you! Amber ❤️❤️💕💕
Seeing all this flood damage reminds me of the horrible floods we had in germany last year in the middle of Juli. Despite living around 100 kilometers away from where the flood hit I took two weeks of from work to help clean up and remove the tonns of garbage and rubble from the destroyed roads. As well as helping to build improvised roads so that food and wather as well as heavy equipment could be brought in to help with cleaning up the mess the flood created. It was amazing to see how many people from all over came to help. Over 180 people and manny animals unfortunately lost their lives on the night of juli 14th and juli 15th and the aftermath. It was horrible to see all the destruction, the devastation and the suffering this flood costed. May god bless you all and keep up doing what you do best for the animals.
In times of disaster, you and you neighbours pitched in to help out. You are heroes too.❤ A lot of people do not understand how powerful and destructive flooding is. The clean up afterwards is monumental. Blessings to you. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
It’s very admirable that you took time off from your normal life to help others in need. Not everyone would do so. Also, your English is great however, it’s “July” with a y. No offence intended, just wanted to help with your spelling. Greetings from Canada! 😊
It’s horrific what happened and every little helps during these disasters and good on Scott for going there & paying forward to those that have lost nearly everything but have some small glimmer of hope via their animals….. look forward to the next episode and to see who Scott and the twins help next
Such devastation and yet people still have hope. Scott and the Twins are doing what they can to help along with the Aussie vets. My heart goes out to the people and the animals. They will move on and hopefully this will become something for future generations to talk about and never happen again. The bush fires and flood goes to show how resilient people are. Thank you to all the vets of Australia that have tirelessly worked to save and help the animals. 🙂❤️
This is truly heart warming, Dr Scott is a beautiful man who has a great big heart. The twins are also exceptional! Scott please open a Vet clinic in the US!😀
I am so touched that you go and assist where you are needed miles from home, I am a bawl baby and the video showing the cows trying to swim in the flood started the tears flowing.
Oh my gosh I heard about the flooding over there, but I didn't realize the amount of devastation and loss. Bless Scott for rushing back to help out as much as he can
We had massive flooding several years ago with a hurricane that hit Texas - Hurricane Harvey. Many of the horses stood in contaminated water for days. The skin on their legs would just slough off. My vet was part of a team that developed a treatment plan for these horses and was able to save many of them. His vet hospital was full of the most severe cases and the racetrack stables were used as an evacuation center. Large herds of cattle were driven by teams on horseback for several miles to get to higher ground. One of the cowboy churches that holds roping events collected supplies to treat the cattle saved. I went through all my vet supplies and bought large bottles of antibiotics and vitamins for that effort. But I'm afraid if this happens again. New laws are going into effect and we will only be able to get antibiotics through vets. Not at the farm stores.
Every year when the hurricanes hit the east coast of the country I live in I always worry about the poor animals. We humans understand a hurricane is coming and we need to leave. I'm not sure if the animals really understand what we're doing. Thank you for all the work you do saving the scared, hurt and abandoned animals due to floods
My oldest dog's mom survived Hurricane Harvey while pregnant, and a wonderful lady who went down and rescued as many dogs as her van could carry brought them back to Ohio to help find them homes because they had to be given up where people lost everything. I hope to see if I can find rescues that need drivers for the next hurricane season because i want to help. Also I would die before I left any animals behind, but I do understand thats not always possible. Bless everyone who helps animals in distressful situations.
I hope your vet work during these times is not only volunteer work, but also free to the people that own the animals. I would hate to think that after going though something so life changing like what they went through, they would get a great big vet bill to boot.
Wow a bunch of really good people helping each other. Amazing job these vets did to help the people and animals. God bless you for all you do. You really care about the animals.
I live in Houston Texas and we had a flood that was so scary 😧 where we had sea 🌊 life swimming in buildings and streets years ago. We have had some flooding, hurricanes and tornadoes through the years that have been devastating too. Houston is 50 miles away from the coast of Texas.
I could barely watch this, I was crying the whole time, when I'm old enough and get the degree, I want to be a vet, to help animals like these, it's not fair on them, animals deserve humans, but who said humans deserve animals? They are so beautiful and its heart-wrenching to see this
So sad 😞💔 so lovely to see everyone going to help and the animals being helped yo safety it breaks my heart, I wish I could help but money is tight, all I can do is wish you a speedy recovery to all the animals and owners that lost so much in this tragedy, will pray for you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😢
Omg seeing those videos and pics of the floods. My heart is absolutely breaking! This is so awful. Sending my thoughts and love to those affected ❤️😓 Making the decision to have to leave your dog. ..your best friend behind ...I can't even...😓
It's amazing to see what some of these vets do n go threw I no it's there job but they go above and beyond true Guardian Angels sent from heaven can't imagine prayers for Australia Migwech from Toronto ❤️🇨🇦 😳
My heart breaks to see the animals being washed away to death by the flood 💔💔💔 but I'm so glad Dr. Scott and the team came to help. You guys are an angel. Love from 🇧🇳♥
Such a tragedy. So much suffering for especially the animals. Thanks to God for all the volunteer Vets and staff and all who help these brave people and animals. 🙏🌻🐕🇺🇸
This is one of the most heartbreaking episodes of Bondi. This first lady who rescued all the horses is indeed a hero and I feel so sad for how helpless she must have felt seeing so many animals being swept away to their deaths. I would have been completely traumatized to see such an awful thing.
This episode really hit home for me, even tho im in America, the same thing happened to me and my home, in just a matter if maybe a few hours the water was waist high and we had to get all our pets out one by one and get them to a friends house who lived on a hill so they weren't affected too much, we even saved a stranded pregnant cat so, thats a win at least, I didn't realize how bad it could get tho, i was fortunate to save my pets and my home was still standing too afterwards, only partially submerged because we lived on an incline, but yeah.. seeing this i never realized how much could have went wrong if we didn't get out of there in time, but.. coming from someone whos been through similar my heart goes out to you all, and im glad good people like you all exist
We need to make changes to protect ourselves and our animals in the future. Every farm/ranch needs high land areas in case of flooding for your livestock. Housing needs to be placed much higher on the property. Yes, it is an expense but if it floods once, it will flood again.
Yes I'd say thank you I saw the tears in your eyes when you're watching on the TV thank you for saving across the bed when they're on fire in the witness of Australia and I just want to say well done well done 4 at the end maybe you could we just come and just say hold on to you for saving as many lives as you posed to be good in the time that you were there the floats I just want to say that I'm and I am so sorry for all the people who have lost their life in Australia and surrounding Islands no matter where you are in the world people a full different types different people from war of the world are thinking of you and sending prayers for you I'm sending a 2 God bless you 🙏🙏🙏💜❤️
Reminds me of the horrible flooding we had in my town in 2006, and again in 2012. The only reason our house didn't flood was because we live on a tall hill. We were, however, cut off from our access roads, so we were literally trapped in our house. The devastation was unbelievable. I can completely empathize with the Australians. It was so scary. Our yard got flooded, so we couldn't go outside. We had no power, and not much to eat. Fortunately, the dogs were okay. I don't want to do that again!
Thank you @Bondivet and @VetOnTheHill for showing the value of veterinarians and how important they are in everyday life.. through the wonderful, the good, the bad and the horrible. Thank you for the new episodes.. 💜
Its not just the people who are traumatised but it's also the animals can't help but shed a few tears wish I could help but I'm not a vet but I do love animals
Several buildings still standing after the flood will have to be torn down and rebuilt because of mold and other kinds of yucky things caused by being so wet for so long.
Grazie dottore per come si è comportato lei sì che è un vero medico non quelli che chiedono soldi ma quelli che amano gli animali ciaoooo Lucia scorpione 🦂🐠 👏
Any help is always appreciated. Did Scott get to see all the goats and sheep the kids helped him gather? Or just the 2? They seemed sad he was going. Then again, everyone has been through so much... I'm just happy every one is helping everyone that they can.
It's very important that we make sure that all of our animal family members can be identified, and ultimately returned, if this sort of thing happens to them. Please guys, Micro chip, tattoo, tag, and do whatever you can to make sure that your very loved animal friend can find it's way back to you if lost. Remember, they cannot speak human, and so they cannot tell strangers where they come from, so we have to help them ourselves 🐈🐕🐎🐮🐷🐑🐐🦙🐇🐔🦆🐢etc etc ❤❤❤

Welcome to Australia!!!!!! This is why l love my country, people helping each other when chips are down.
Oh my, waoo!
This ignoring the global crisis is soooo!
We have to act but every body needs to get working on this!!!
How very devastating!!! It breaks my heart! Scott, you're so wonderful.
We need to make changes to protect ourselves and our animals in the future. Every farm/ranch needs high land areas in case of flooding for your livestock. Housing needs to be placed much higher on the property. Yes, it is an expense but if it floods once, it will flood again.
Poor Buddy. He could use a good dental cleaning which would benefit his heart and make him feel better.
