I just love doing my hair in the two strand twist protective style. It also grows the hair pretty quickly. I also enjoyed reading the scripture at the beginning of the video and I think you have nice hair.

Thanks. I have tried mini twists once and I loved them, but me being me, left them in for a good 5 (or more) weeks so by the time I was undoing them (taking them down), they were sooooo tangled and I ended up ripping a lot of the knots out. Thanks for the note of leaving them in for a maximum of 3 weeks. I shall give mini twists another go.

Beautiful what products do you use I use curly cream honey by cream of nature I also have the honey pomegranate leave in conditioner and gel

See mine never would lock with a braid at the scalp . My tool I utilized is to refresh it , meaning I would just unravel them to the braid (after I washed my hair though ) and "tie it" or tighten the braid and re twist the rest , so pull the two stands so the braid slides to the scalp .

Your hair is so beautiful and looks so healthy, I'm still trying to learn to love my hair has taken many years, combing seems like such a chore, if you were into grading, what grade would you give your hair? Im what they call 4c and tenderheaded OUCH,!!!. Wasn't treated nice growing up by those that had to comb it. Yours is so beautiful.great job and very inspirational. Mine last me a month I just keep touching them up at times with conditioner and castor oil and once a week use dry shampoo on my hair and it grows like trees 🎉

I recently found your channel and am so happy I did. I have fine hair and what I find is my twist shrivel up. Is it because I am not using a heavy enough product? I haven't tried mousse. Thanks for the videos!!!
Twist will shrink since there isn’t as much hold as a plait. But if you try layering product, that will definitely weigh them down. Then try banding them as they dry, if you’re doing them on damp hair. That will help stretch them and prevent a lot of shrinkage as well. Hope this helps!

I wish i could do mini twist on my natural hair. Inhave tried to twist it in certain directions, tried different products, tried no products my hair, loose twist, tight rope like twist it ends up always looking like Coolio's hair. It never hangs down after twisting.

How long did it take
How long does it normally take you to finish your twists?
I haven’t sat and timed myself, when I do my twist I make sure I have nothing to do that day so I can relax and take my time while taking breaks in between.

how do you dry your hair after your wash? do you recommend air drying or using like a hooded dryer?
I allow my hair to air dry, but using a hooded dryer is also good because it sets the style in place faster. I will be posting an updated mini twist video very soon! Stay tuned ♥️
