Great video. My Sat Nav sent me accidentally through the Harz mountains on a road trip in Germany and it was very beautiful. The air was very clear and there were flowers everywhere.

@@SandyMakesSense we aren't driving except in Black forest. Just for those who aren't driving like us and are interested to know: take bus 260 from Wernigerode hbf or from markt strasse, alight at Rubeland Talsperre, Harzadrenaline ticket office is right opposite. Show the receptionist your booking and get your tickets. Add on a Titan RT entrance ticket too, as you have to walk back via Titan RT after megazip.

Maybe I would say from Schierke? U can drive to this place with your own car and then hike to the pik of the mountain. It’s hard for me to say how long it takes but I would say Up and down takes around 5. Or second option take the train from Wernigerode and get of the train in Schierke and hike. If you don’t want to drive with your car up there what would be cheaper. To take the train is not really cheap…. Option number 3 would be drive to the Westside of the Harz … the name of the place called Torfhaus ( ask Google and Google maps and see where it is ) and you can also hike from there. I don’t how long that will take never done it from this side. But Google should answer this question
