    Jean-Guy and Gabriel make up the CCGS #Amundsen ’s #mapping team. They use a Moving Vessel Profiler to measure different kinds of data such as speed of sound, temperature and dissolved oxygen content in the water. They also use a multibeam #echosounder to create vivid 3-D maps of the #Arctic sea floor.

    The hole ocean hase been mapped by P3 orian navel sub hunter ,but the ocean floor is ever change ing ,the chart plotter u have now an maps are just rough estimates on what the bottom used to be when that map was produced ,so even after these guys make a map it will have to be redone again,nothen stays the same ,
