Thanks for sharing these helpful tips. Must say I'm sceptical of the claim at 1:22 though ("stories make facts 22x more memorable"). That seems suspiciously precise (like the Mehrabian Myth). Surely it depends on things like what story was used, how well it was told, how the fact was linked to the story, etc etc. Do you have a reference to a study that supports the claim? I've heard another speaker make the same claim, and it seems to come from a quote by psychologist Jerome Bruner, but I haven't yet been able to track down supporting evidence. Thanks.

Am listening to this and oxytocin stands out just because its nature's it release for labour, post partum bleed, breastfeeding milk release for babies to breastfeed. 😇🖤🤎

Ironic that Kit opens with a mini lecture with science and stats and not a story …

Great topic, Alex and Kit! That breakdown was superb. Also, Kit your advice to tell more stories to become a great storyteller is key. Public speaking as a whole is mastered through practice and consistency.

A very good content, Alex . My question is, can you tell a story that is not true

I would not recommend fabricating stories.

It was a great Video. I watch the video as I have to present a storytelling speech next week. I even do not know what should I tell, and how can I make a story to impress my classmates until I saw this helpful video. This is what I learned from this video. I put it in 5 words. When Where What and How. what time and place this store had happened? What happened in your store? How this store influenced you, and very importantly connect the dots with the audience. Thanks again and I will work on my store.
