Long distance torpedoes keep enemy ships at a distance, and these set lots of fires. I’m getting 140-150k a game in the Shimanto. Also Finding these much tougher to citadel then Suzuya.

Destroyer Commander, w Mikawa, and Lightfull. Long torps low concealment. Shoot torps un spotted. Patients.... Start fires and drop spot. You will see..
I have 17.5% chance of fire with 12.5km torps...this thing is awesome at hiding behind islands and lobbing shots over them. Thats what this ship is for.
Just unlocked this ship got a kraken high caliber game before i had enough xp for upgrades i think theyre good but cant really carry games due to playstyle
I got all of them on luck. They are fun ships but they could not solo carry but they do okay in what they need to do and to me be great DD hunters most have great turret turn something DD hunting needs most CLs do not have any 360 turn turrets. HE is good, but do not sleep on that AP I got a few citadels with each of the new CLs, the most was 5 on one ship using the Tier 7. The torps in this line are good hit pretty hard, have great range over some other CL lines, hell even a few DD ones. They make good zone torps well to me they do. And once this new Commander is is gotten I bet this ship well come to life more. they have all got good speed,

Helluva team ya got there Ghost...know how you feel. Gokase is the only one I have so far. It's not a bad ship but I prefer Aoba at the tier

I kinda like this one. I prefer the tier 4 though. With DD commander 14.6 km torps and Carrier commander 19k torp damage.
thats if you can actually hit things with the torps 😅
I would try these out since I have most of them, but I think I'll continue grinding my American cruisers instead.

Suggestions for the best destroyer in tier 5, not premium
Farragut is the best gunboat imo, Minekaze/Mursuki good torpers.
