Thanks so much for watching! We are hoping to do more of these tours soon for projects of all sizes, so stay tuned! This backyard is roughly 60' x 60' but keep in mind we can curtail a design of this type to fit in most yards and adjust the size accordingly.
Those are Hopseed Bush shrubs, we've got a writeup on the project here: www.calpool.com/arizona-backyard-design-ideas-modern-mesa/ Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! We love the combination of design materials in this backyard. The waterline tile is Granito Dolomite Gray 6" x 6" by National Pool Tile.
Thanks for watching Jonathan. Our travertine supplier is Monterrey Tile. We have samples in all 4 of our Design Centers throughout the valley if you'd like to see samples.
I am curious why the travertine is non-porous. We did a travertine pad recently as it’s porous and natural look. We will soon be building a pool but confused with what type of travertine. Porcelain or travertine which is better and high end?
Hi there thank you so much for watching! Travertine pavers and porcelain pavers are both amazing options for your deck, but as far as saying one is better than the other, it's all in the eye of the beholder. It ultimately comes down to the aesthetic and use of the yard. We have some great resources available for you to learn more: www.calpool.com/travertine-pool-deck/ www.calpool.com/travertine-pavers-decks-awards/
Hi Carmen, this is what we would call a play pool, which us 3ft deep in the shallow end, 5 ft depth in the middle and then goes back up to 4ft in the end towards the spa. The Baja Shelf is 89 sq ft and sits at a 12" depth. The spa is 9 ft x 7.5 ft. You can read up on other details and materials in this article in our Learning Center: www.calpool.com/arizona-backyard-design-ideas-modern-mesa/ Thanks for watching!
Excellent video. Hope this will continue as a series. What backyard dimension do you need to fit such a design?
