I was concerned about this one, too. I tend to avoid malted whiskey, especially at the price of this release. I rolled the dice on this one at KBF because I have never had the opportunity to get a Parker's Heritage release for anything other than secondary pricing. I wasted no time opening it up when I got home. To my surprise and relief, this is a very good bottle, and I am thankful I gambled, and it paid off. You guys nailed this review! Great job! Was faced with a decision to get this, MMCA 2024, or Four Roses LE 2024. Finessed some things and got 1 MMCA, 2 PH, and 2 FRLE all for msrp. My pockets were pissed, but best personal haul ever.
I had hoped you both would review this as I had my doubts, even standing in line at KBF. I haven’t jumped on it yet as I hauled in a truck load from the festival and working my way to this one. Ready to crack it open this weekend. Cheers🥃

I’m confused on people dodging ASM or malted whiskey. Maybe it’s because I’m late to the game…but I’ve had several WONDERFUL ASM’s and malted whiskeys in the last couple years
I’d like to hear how you all think it compares to a 14ish year old exceptional series. If I’ve got one of those is this different enough to warrant the hunt?

I like them too, but the ASM coming from HH have been subpar. They did like 3 or 4 select stock and they didnt go over well
