No, you texted the teacher.not to.
Reminds me of when I stood under a URSS professor, we both agreed that he could minister only half of his time, inf fact is a misconception that more is better, while stood while you're attending class you're deprived of the time that you should be practicing.
How is it anyway possible.

As someone who lives in England and studied at Oxford, it's so crazy to see how different education is in different cultures, and yet how similar people are. The buildings, the food, the lessons, the culture, the bathrooms are all completely different, but student life is still the same, just loads of sarcastic humour and being with friends and enjoying being young. Fascinating how much lighter of a voice you have when talking English, and your Russian is more.. not darker but more rough. Really cool. I study socialantropologi so this thing's fascinates me
Russian, Spanish, Portugis and many others languages don't sound rude, but natural. To a certain degree, life is college! There's loads of information they will never share while we pay millions for an oppressive parochial education. No way in hell a horse-and-buggy culture built the Capitol Buildings with the same architecture aproach all over the globe. And let's talk about the pyramids. If people understood their god-given power there would be no government control!
And it looks as if the agenda of The universitys is to make sure you never know that! Unity in diversity... Birakoth!
I can understand why she is not as interested though. She clearly regrets choosing the degree she chose as she doesn't want to be a translator (as she said). If you are not interested in what you are studying, it is hard to motivate yourself to go to class. I loved uni, but certain classes I was forced into I disliked, either for the content or teacher. Its hard to motivate yourself if you don't enjoy it.

Yes, this was the funniest line in whole video and delivered with such understated dry humour - ...beyond sarcasm, ...'Russian' satire.
This cracked me up!
Funny I was thinking the same thing before she said it LOL
I live in the neighborhood where Dostoevsky lived and wrote about in his novels, many of the streets have returned to their original names. The specific buildings are easy to identify by his descriptions. It is actually a very nice area to live in, with great schools, shopping restaurants, pubs, drama theaters and walking distance to many of the best museums, concert halls in the world. I am an American who has lived here 21 years and has seen much more of Russia starting in 1976 to now than the girl who creates these videos and hates Russia, getting rich off denigrating Russia she has not even seen. It is actually a very good place to live with low taxes, low cost of living, the free university, free medical care, long paid vacations, 3 years paid family leave, very easy to start a business, a great deal of personal freedom. She is too young to know what the west did the ex-Soviet union after 1991, when the US forced the weak president to very rapidly privatizing the vast resources and state assets of the USSR by giving all the wealth of the country to a criminal class who became instant billionaires and the rest of the population lost all security, savings, jobs, and had nothing after living all their lives with security, and good services. It was a major shock, about 10 times worse than the US Great Depression. Much of the money ended up in London or NYC after the worst of the oligarchs were owed by US and UK with instant citizenship if they brought their new wealth with them.
The 1990s were very traumatic times for the country but only after 2000 want the corruption and control by the oligarchs tackled and by 200q was the fastest growing in the world every year until 2008 then grew again at a slower pace from then on, despite the intense economy war being waged against it by the US that wanted it broken up and assets claimed by the US. The propaganda heard hourly in the US that has been preparing for war against Russia and her allies is outrageous. More than half the US population lives more limited less free lives than Russians now, with little or no debt, more free speech, far better access to culture and education, clean safe parks, lower crime, police who do not kill people but prefer to de-escalate situations. She says her life is not as good as her fellow students in the US college she attended, free for 2 semesters but did not see the slums just blocks away in every city in the US, the hundreds of thousands of homeless, and the majority in hopeless debt.
She also has seen almost none of Russia. Her own city is lagging behind in restoration and updating because but a lot of money is going into infrastructure improvement and she expects it to be like other countries which are not under attack and had to rebuild everything after the 90s. The USSR was much better than what the 90s deteriorated to but every day it gets better here. Many cities with better management are doing very well. She should spend time in them to see if her imagination of poor condition fits reality. But it is very profitable to be slagging Russia, between NED funding and RUclips paying thousands of dollars in ad revenue per video, she already makes more than most in the US.
This video just got recommended to me and I don't know why, but I'm so glad it did! It's really interesting to see how education works in a far-flung province of an Eastern-Russian post-soviet system (which in many ways may have forgotten the young people who live there now) and now with people that make it work! Whilst there may be a lot of problems with things it is great to hear that university education can be accessible to those who have an aptititude for it...it's not a fair system completely of course because it should be for everyone, but in a country which does not have too many resources it is good to know.
Your english is great too...a couple of mistakes but that is normal...you'll be a pro in no time :)

Hi Natasha. I recently had the opportunity to visit Russia, and not only the most popular cities, and I must say that you are wonderful people, I felt safe, I loved it, I have seen cities and countryside, dachas, I liked the Soviet contrast that still lasts today in many places, and finally I became very tired of the mindless conflict between east and west. We do not deserve these governments. I could go to live perfectly there, and surely any Russian would come to my country and there would be no problem. How disgusting politics.
Dear Natasha, you have the most beautiful, soft and gentle voice, it’s so nice to listen to. ✨😍
God bless you. Thank you. Matthew
What if everyone, from every country, was like this woman? I am grateful for you and for your wonderful videos. You are precious.
Excellent hope you are successful in all you do !
Dear Natasha, you are such a delight! You always make my day.
I just found your channel yesterday and I’m on a binge of all your videos! I’m Norwegian and study Russian and Easter-European History and Politics, and your videos has probably been just as enlightening as my courses but a lot funnier, sarcasm is an universal language😂 and with fewer balding professors😂
Mr. Bald will go crazy over that soviet mural inside your university. lol
No babushkash for him though 😂
And the Soviet sinks in the bathrooms!
you’re so honest and nice ,,, [sends virtual hug]
Thanks Natasha - iPhone 6! So glad you got a new phone!
After a great influx of foreign students, similar announcements started to appear on the toilet doors of my university. They provided an illustrated explanation of the intended use of the facility. Rumour has it, that the cleaners were sick and tired of cleaning the shoe prints (and worse) of toilet seats, left there by exchange students who were only familiar with a hole in the ground.
Same here
Interesting. If they were truly inclusive though, they would have installed a squat pot in one of the stalls.
Your personality really shines through ,and your words paint a colorful picture of what it would be like starting your adventure. Stay strong like your country. Also wild tigers this is truly a special place you live.
Gosh, it sucks that you're just a hop and a skip from Japan, yet the university couldn't find Japanese lecturers.
Subbed - it's especially interesting to hear a perspective from the Far East as I'd like to visit Russia, but I'd be more likely to build it into a Japan trip.
I'm waiting until restrictions over.

The Internet has ruined me...😳
oh my god!! I just realized why I love your videos so much... I don't know how much editing you do but it's so awesome it feels like old home movies..
My experience at my university was pretty much the same, except for all the snow. Greetings from Ethiopia!!
