Yeah just get it started and use the volume control up on whatever you want to record or not turn it down I'd imagine. There's an fx loop and line out to use with an audio interface or mixer. I noticed the recording of the loop activated automatically after the band learned the progression and it was time to record chords etc on the loop part side.

Just do a 4 click intro. Guitar does not have to start it.
