Thank you for another great runthrough! I enjoy different reviewers for different reasons and I have to say that your runthroughs are a joy to watch. I feel like I am there playing vicariously with you and I get a good feel for how the games play. Keep up the excellent work!
Hmmm, this might have to go to the top of my list for my next BG purchase. The GF and I love Thunderstone but it never quite feels like you're "going to the village" or "entering the dungeon". This seems to have much of the same mechanics (card purchasing) but with the added benefit of an actual dungeon to traverse. Thanks for the play through!
Hmm....Heard about this and thought that I already have a good amount of deck-builders in my collection. Aeon's End is the tops for me followed by Marvel Legendary. This one looks unique and different enough to add to my collection.
This looks like a fun little adventure. Running out of shelfspace though, not sure what this would replace (I'd say Dominion as I prefer Arctic Scavengers, but my wife would disagree!)...
Deckbuilding is just one of my favourite mechanisms and this looks like an awesome implementation. Have you found the possible player elimination to be a problem Rahdo?
oh, it doesn't bother me. i have been watching you since your cell phone days :) i just don't know how you can hold a video camera for so long while playing a game. good job!
You said that you draw back up to five cards. The way we've been playing is to just shuffle all cards in our hand and discard pile together at the end of each turn. This is wrong?
It's been awhile since this comment as well, but this addressed in the extended playthrough as Rahdo notices it almost immediately at the start of the video.
I mean in your hand you might have a total of 6 skill points, but one of those points shares the same card as a boot symbol. Now you might have already spent the card in order to move leaving you with 5 skill points? or do you get both skill and movement?
Just to confirm, but shouldn't the dragon have moved up once on the track when the diamond was revealed? Or is there something about the dragon missing that keeps it from moving?

20:22 move is illegal right? Rule book says you can still teleport from a crystal cavern but cannot use your other moves until next turn.
oops question has been answered. Thanks.
this was hands down my favorite game of GenCon! its a shame they were sold out when I went to buy it. thanks for doing the video!!

Even if you teleport out of a cave you can't use leftover boots.
yup that's noted in the show notes: turn on klingon subtitles to see them :)
Thanks for another enjoyable walkthrough! Keep up the great vids!
Love your run throughs
I’ve only just got this game! But question is, why is there a 100 card dungeon deck, when we only draw about 8 cards? As 2 player game.

no, not at all. you have to be insanely wreckless to get knocked out early, it's not likely to happen
So do you still own this game and have you played the expansion?
side note - do u actually hold a video camera in ur hand the entire time, or do u have some sort of stand?
hand held, and if you check the rules you'll see there's an alternate static cam feed you can watch if the motion don't work for you :)

yup, you only reshuffle the discard pile when your draw pile is empty :)
rahdo Thank you. :)
Hi, I know it's been a while since this was uploaded, but shouldn't all players have clank +1 because of Arrive ability on the Watcher monster card?
It's been awhile since this comment as well, but this addressed in the extended playthrough as Rahdo notices it almost immediately at the start of the video.
I've heard complaints about card quality. Have you found this to be the case?
no, but i'm not one to ask as i tend not to concern myself that much with it
Wait, I thought you used either the boot or the skill, not both?
sorry, i don't remember the instance in the video you're referring to.... recorded a long time ago

i donj't believe it says anywhere in the rules that you have to choose one or the other, so you can use both
Yep, I just watched another video and it's evident now, so I'll change the way I play to do both. Thanks for the response.

timestramp please
Why don't you have a tripod? I don't get it..
check the video's show notes :)
Question: Does Jen ever actually play? lol
check #1 at faq.rahdo.com :)
Entire move was illegal. Should have just went with your original idea. What a blunder.
