When I first got into kpop the term "comeback" confused me as well. It's just a term they use for every new album drop. It doesn't mean they went anywhere or dropped off though. Here in the west we would use it if someone was gone for several years and then had a "comeback". I still don't understand why they use it for every album drop but it's just a kpop thing I guess lol.
