Railfanning Sacramento, CA 4/19/19 Featuring WP 913

After a long hiatus, I am back to railfanning and just in time for the 150th Transcontinental Celebration. On April 19-22, 2019, The Experience the Union Pacific Car was on display at the CSRM for the public to view the transcontinental railroad history. WP 913 & SSRR 2008 were out for the weekend and they pulled the regular SSRR excursions to and from the Central Pacific Freight Depot.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing. Nice to see WP 913; somehow I thought it had the WP logo on the nose like its sister WP 918 at PLA? That horn is fantastic. And the SW8 is just icing on the cake. Classic EMD sound.

Thanks:) WP 913's logo was taken off because of burglar activity in Old Sac. Sometimes WP 913's A-200 horn surprises me from time to time and I love SSRR 2008's EMD sounds.

The thing I find most interesting about 913 is its bell. Definitely not an EMD steel bell that it was built with.
