I know its the 200-600 GM, but whoever think this "big zoom" is possible with 600mm is misinformed, thats why i said thats just the internal mangnification of the camera.
I can also see moon craters when using 10x on screen, but in reality, without crop/additional zoom the moon is not even frame filling
I also made the "mistake" to start wildlife with 100-400 and full frame, just to first get a budget 800mm (RF 800) and then even going for a dedicated wildlife/video setup with a 600mm zoom lens and APS-C (native 240-960mm and additional crop video/cropping images is some sort of nice and universal)
The problem.... thats a full frame camera and a 600mm zoom lens, so especially if its "just" a A7SIII, you cant crop much and you would NEED TO for this "zoom" he is showing.

My Sigma 150-600C isnt much worse, and if i really want reach i have the RF 800 giving me 1280mm+ on APS-C.
Funny thing, i have 3 good lenses.... EF 100-400 II, Sigma 150-600C and RF 800 F11, both costed 2nd hand less than a new RF 100-500L (the canon counterpart of this sony lens)
